This is a page to commemorate the closed Custer Theatre in Charleston, WV
The Custer Theater was a landmark on Charleston's West Side. It was opened in 1938 and became the Lyric Theater in the 1970's. My grandmother, Mary Louise Bradley, worked there and my father saw his first movie there. I lived on the West Side during the summer of 1975 and saw Earthquake there.
