I ordered a two-tiered racing themed cake, smash cake, cupcakes, and cookies for my son’s first birthday party and was thrilled! I went in to brainstorm the design of the cakes/cookies and also had very specific dietary restrictions for the cake/cupcakes no sugar, no salt. Shavon was able to accommodate all my requests. Everything came out delicious and looked way better than I could ever imagine. The best part of my order were the cookies. I ordered a total of 4 dozen cookies various shapes/designs. They were delicious not the least bit dry! AND all so beautifully decorated. I’m already trying to think of the next occasion I can order sugar cookies. : Highly recommend placing an order with Jen’s Cakes.

I stumbled across Jen's Cakes purely by accident while trying out the Too Good To Go app and picking up a surprise bag from Fit Food Cuisine which shares space. They both share the same pickup door. Due to an app notification sent in error, we arrived too early to pickup our order and Jen immediately set out to help us out by contacting the owner to see if she could assist. She was super friendly and even offered us some samples while we waited. Her chocolate cake cookie was AMAZING!!! The cupcakes samples were certainly very good, but the cookie was definitely the highlight of our adventure. Found out she is able to make both gluten free and vegan delights, so we are looking forward to trying those out in the future. Definitely worth a follow-up visit. Thanks for the southern hospitality Jen!

I don't normally post 2 star reviews but we were honestly just so disappointed with our cake. We chose Jen's cakes because the pictures looked great and they said they could do a shaped cake. I'm not a cake expert but the design felt relatively simple and we contacted them weeks in advance. You can see in my photo what we were expecting and what we got. Yes it *technically* was a round shape with a face, but it just felt so distorted bizarrely tall, no dimpling at the top, eyes and smile placement is off, no blushy cheeks. My husband said it looked like Jack from Jack in the Box, I thought it looked like a snowman head. The only good thing was the raspberry cream cheese filling. We chose chocolate faustine as the cake flavor, which was described as a creamier chocolate. I don't know what it was supposed to be like, but our cake texture was just really dense and kinda dry. We splurged and paid $140 for this 7" round cake for context, this cost half of what I paid for my wedding cake which was for 100+ guests! because we wanted something special for our baby's first birthday. We really had higher hopes : Giving 2 stars because the staff/people were nice.

This place is hands down the best place to get birthday cakes. Amy did an outstanding job with our son’s first birthday cake. Picture attached says it all. All of our guests loved it. I highly recommend this place for birthday cakes.

The experience that I had was absolutely amazing!!! The space is clean and gives you amazing vibes. The cake is amazing. The cupcakes are awesome. The cookies are scrumptious. The customer service is remarkable. I will forever support. Shivaugn and Nancy thank you for what you do!!!

The cake design and attention to detail is amazing. We went there for a birthday party - a Nailed it! party. They all had a great time. Ayme and Staff are fantastic to work with.

We contracted for a wedding cake which was to be delivered to the event venue at 3:00pm on Saturday, 28 August 2021. At 4pm the cake still had not arrived. At 4:15 pm the wedding planner contacted Jens Cakes. No one answered the telephone so voice messages were left. At 4:15 pm after not receiving responses, our planner contacted door dash so some kind of cake was available for the ceremony. At 4:50 pm, someone from Jens Cakes brought the cake to the venue. At this point it was left with the caterer as guests were arriving for the ceremony and the caterer was beginning refreshment services. The delivery person walked out without their final check payment. The next day we received an email asking for payment. No apologies and no excuses for being almost 2 hours late. I responded to the email outlining the aforementioned information. I reminded "Marlana" that we were well within our rights not to provide the final payment as the cake was almost 2 hours late and we incurred additional expense to have a cake door dashed for the ceremony. My wife and I talked it over and decided we didn't want to mar our special day with quibbling over the final payment. Our planner then sent the final check the very next day Monday. Jens Cakes should have received the final payment no later than Friday the 3rd of September, however, the check has not been cashed. I have sent an e-mail and left several voice mails to determine if the check reached them. They have not responded to any form of communication. Although Jens Cake provided a beautiful cake for our wedding, heir internal processes leave alot to be desired. If you do order a cake from them be prepared for very poor follow though on the service end

A little delayed note but i wanted to post this review since long. We ordered my baby shower cake from here and it was nothing but Gorgeous and yummy!!! We took a picture from net and gave the same for the order and the actual cake came out exactly the same or i would say even better than the picture we gave. It was a standout in the party and certainly the best place to order custom cakes.. They were even able to accommodate our request of eggless cake without compromising with the taste or texture of the cake! Thank you for such beautiful cake!

Nobody opened the door when I went to pick up our cake! Communication at this place wasn't the greatest even before, lots of turnover in front office staff, with details and followup sometimes getting lost in the mix I'd gotten my wedding cake here in 2018 - it was a cherry cake, I do have to say it tasted wonderful The new guy owner does some Fitness meals out of the same kitchen called to take my money for our "upcoming" event, didn't sound like he had any idea it was several months away, but apparently collecting money is the end of his interest in the business :/

I'm ordering my wedding cake from here, and my experience both with the tasting and the cake selection was incredible. Their flavors are out of this world delicious. My fiance and I decided to go with something a little unconventional, a cupcake tower, since we are both cupcake fans, and Jen's Cakes was able to make our dream into something formal and classy which fit right in with our wedding. We ended up going with the following flavors: banana, white cake with raspberry filling and a double chocolate. There were some other great flavors, but these are the ones that stood out the most to me. The BEST thing that they do is actually their frosting. They make buttercream frosting that is so smooth that it looks like fondant. This is amazing because it has an incredibly polished look but still tastes delicious. I cannot wait to see how our wedding cake turns out!! :
