I have worked with Custom Valve for 20 years as a critical supplier. I put them on top of my list as not only a great customer but also as good people. Any successful company is successful because it starts at the top and filters down. From John being the owner to Eric being the chief engineer to Amanda juggling everything she does every day to Brian who makes sure the product is manufactured correctly and shipped on time, WHAT A FANTASTIC TEAM!! I have watched them grow from a small facility in Ferndale to a medium facility in Clawson to a beautiful manufacturing facility in Madison Hts. I watched their orders with us go from real small to them being my 3rd biggest customer. When ever I visit Custom Valve I am always welcomed with a smile from everyone. No matter how busy they are they will always take time out to discuss not only business but there is always discussion about life. John runs an awesome ship and has to be very thankful with the employees that work for him. My company has been a vendor to Custom Valve Concepts for the last 3 years. Over that time, I had the opportunity to get to know the CEO, John Taube. Most importantly, I got to know some of the management and shop staff. No question, John runs class operation as displayed by the pristine condition of the machinery and building facilities at CVC headquarters. I work here for 3 years as a machinist or should I say operator. I was a skilled machinist before and after working at CVC and working here was just a production job and lacked being able to use my skill. It was a good place to work and friendly people. I ran every job with care and did the best job I could. but one time I didn't check a job right and scrapped some parts and they said they have to let me go. First and only time I was let go in my 25 years in machining. Turns out it was a blessing because now I work for a top 100 company in Michigan. Although I think my leader and the manager didn't want to do it I think it was John the owner who decided. It claims to be a family place but they never met or new anything about any families. Not much of a Christmas bonus either. And the owner parks his Lexus and BMW in the shop next to machines in the winter. So the workers would get to stare at expensive cars while we didn't get squat for chistmas bonus.

We have worked with Eric Geile and Custom Valve Concepts for the last three years. Our Prosthetic laboratory company designs computerized vacuum systems and other external prosthetic components, where attention to detail is critical.
