Cuzin's Cafe

I have attempted to eat here several times over a 3-4 year period and have been disappointed 3 out of 4 times. The service is unusually slow and the food is not very good. Their pork was dry and did not have a good taste. I one time I had a positive experience, I ordered a hamburger and fries. 2/5 on the burger, but the service was great.

Now I'm a local and I've never really had a problem with this place before. Around here pretty much everybody knows everybody. I'm a local businessman in town and usually someone from my office goes to pick up the food for for me or anybody else. When I personally came in during lunch to buy food that I've always bought there was a lady that was there to take my money. Funny thing is she really did try to take my money! Amazingly the food that I ordered raised by a dollar... that day... that instant. I asked to see the menu and she told me that the menu hasn't been updated yet. The thing is I looked at the other two people working there and they looked like they were dumbfounded by this change. I'm a local so I knew people that were there eating and they came out and told me that that was wrong that that had happened. What got me is they told me that lady was the wife of the owner. So I guess since I'm a local businessman and I might make a few more dollars here and there they thought they could just charge me a dollar for no reason. Well in my opinion that's just wrong. I don't do that to anybody around here and that's why I've been here since 1979. So if you're a local or a visitor I would suggest not to support this place anymore. Let's try to keep the integrity that Branford has always had.

Once a week our motorcycle club eats. Good food & service. Owner on premises to insure both. Nice family place with fair prices. Bbq a specialty, smoked on site.
