I have had medication from every specialty pharmacy. I have never had a pharmacy this incompetent Every month the medication didn’t come time sensitive EVER on time. I had to spend hours on the phone with the pharmacy blaming the doctor and blame on my insurance company. Every time I find out that all is right with my insurance they approved the medication for a year and the doctors office confirmed with me that the orders were written correctly. CVS specialty is the only problem. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY !!!!!!!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE ANYWHERE!!!!!!
Terrible customer service. Called to see the availability of a medication that my normal pharmacy could not obtain. The first person could/would not tell me its availability and transferred me to intake. I was told intake could find out Intake would not answer my question and said I had to sign up and transfer my Rx before she would transfer me yet again to someone that could tell my if they could get it. Not going to happen.
Due to the increased homeless population that lives right outside of this building roaches have infested the inside of the building and it being a pharmacy they back and ship medications but have done nothing about the roaches which is disgusting at the very least, not sure how it's not a health Hazzard or illegal you can't have roaches in a kitchen around food so why are they allowed to he in a pharmacy around medication! They are also a terrible pharmacy just ask any of their current or past customers and employees
They have Roaches in building where they pack ship and handle yout medications! There is a supervisor for this location that is in Pennsylvania so not sure how's she's supervisoring anything in a different state? Notoriously known to mess up medication orders. Also they treat their employees like garbage
Each refill takes weeks to get. Always excuses about something that needs to be verified but everything is correct. Every single refill we run out of medication waiting weeks. Given delivery dates that they keep missing. CVS if you are reading this, if this pharmacy is under staffed you are risking peoples lives. Fix it!!
There's currently roaches in this building and they have a back end pharmacy. So in short there is roaches around your medications :
Y’all - Jennifer, Thomas, and Karen are the real MVPs. It’s not easy dealing with insurance companies and most of the issues I see in the reviews are the insurance companies fault, not CVS. Every time I have an issue the team here comes thru to find a solution and does it quickly.
My doctor prescribed me a specialty medication my local pharmacy’s were having problems filling. I called CVS Specialty and they said they could fill it. My doctor sent the prescription there and I never heard anything. I called back and after being on hold for an hour then said the prescription needed to be clarified. My doctor clarified the prescription and I again never heard from cvs for weeks. I call again after being on hold for an hour and they said they didnt have the medication but could substitute it for another. I said ok but then said my doctor has to contact them and let them know if that was ok. My doctor approved the medication so after not hearing anything for a week, I called back. I was on hold again for an hour then I was told my insurance doesn’t cover it and I need an authorization. I told her I know my insurance doesn’t cover it and I’m paying for it myself. She said she will have someone contact me with prices. No one ever did. Another week went by and I’m still on the phone as we speak for 42 min for being on hold. This place is horrible and I’ll never use or tell anyone to use this pharmacy!
This is the worst place to get your prescription filled. I was told that my son's meds would be in one week ago, then we had a call three days later and they said it would be delivered by Friday. Two weeks later and still no medication? I finally had to send my prescription to another pharmacy because I was getting nowhere with this company. I you really need your meds, do not come here. The don't know what they are doing.
I worked here for about a week then I quit. I got tired of people yelling at me. Guess what people we would give you meds if we could most times your insurance doesn’t want to cover or your dr doesn’t have the prior authorization done! I am happy I quit and also most people are new so they don’t know everything give them a break!!!
