I had a strange interaction with a cashier several days ago that I think is worth noting. He was a young man with dark hair and glasses. I did not have a CVS card and I told the cashier that I didn’t want one. He seemed to accept this at first before bringing up a $5 coupon and telling me “I’m going to sign you up. I don’t want you to miss it.” I insisted that it was fine and he kept insisting that he was going to sign me up anyway. I gave in because I thought it would be a quick and easy process, but it turned into an ordeal with him asking my email at least three times and then reaching over me to the pin pad to consent to text and email marketing on my behalf, which I did not consent to him doing. THEN he insists that we have to do two transactions so I can use the coupon today. He keeps saying “I don’t want you to miss it.” Again, I give in thinking this will end the interaction finally. He tells me after I’ve already hit email receipt on the first transaction that I needed a print receipt to get the coupon all while scoffing and rolling his eyes at me. In the end, it took 20 minutes of my life. I saved no money and I have a cvs card and marketing emails that I didn’t ask for. He was rude and condescending my and consented to things on my behalf, despite having no power to do so, seemingly in the name of boosting his own numbers. I assume, if he’s doing this to me, it has happened to others.
This place is a joke. Received a $5 coupon from a pharmacy order. Went to use it at the front checkout. They wouldn't let me. They said I had to use it at pharmacy and pharmacy Obviously they don't want to honor the coupon. They just want to lure u in. And, the pharmacy sucks, always out of stock on meds and service is the worst. I actually would give them a negative 100 rating I'd I could was closed
Yep... same as all other reviews. Horrible service. The actual worst. 90 minutes on the phone... still on hold. Anywhere is better than here. F on the BBB website. Complete ineptitude. Gross incompetence. Wow- an update... called "customer care" at corporate... they said to wait on hold... I called when they opened. Still on hold. 4 hours. Last update. Wow, just wow. DO NOT GO THERE. CVS... watch this... I am transferring my scripts to a competing pharmacy further away. I think you are that horrible... "horrible" that's being really nice. You will never get a penny from me again. Not that you actually care.
Edit: they have made some real changes. Hired more and more pleasant staff. They seem to have taken on a more healthy culture. They are constantly SLAMMED, so I feel for them. Still don't answer phone. Will bump it up to 3 stars from one and see how things go. Good progress though. Previous Review: Worst pharmacy I have ever used. I have gone here for the last 7 years and it had been just fine, over the last year or so it has taken a major turn for the worse... They don't fill prescription that are called in unless you talk to them and point it out. They don't answer the phone so you actually have to physically go there to ask for the refill. Recently this has been the case with the automated system too. I personally feel the head pharmacist is the cause, when he came everything went to hell. He is rude to his staff and customers. There is MAJOR turnover in the pharmacy techs. This place seems toxic, please be nice to the techs they seem to really hate working here.
I work at a medical office. I attempted to call this pharmacy to correct an error that they made with a patient's prescription, and was put on hold for 90 minutes and then hung up on. When I called back, the automated system said that the pharamcy is closed due to a lunch break, which is presumably why they hung up on me. Steer clear of this pharmacy.
Literally about the worst pharmacy you can go to. I have tooken my girlfriend here to get her medicine quite a few times no one answers the phone have you waiting for an extensive amount of time I just feel sorry for people who truly need their medicine and the staff acts like they don't care I feel like there needs to be a new manager and more employees running the store in a better manner and to take out of time out of my day to write this is crazy and you should have a good experience anywhere you go if there was a button for zero Stars I wouldn't even be given them one star review it's pretty sad something needs to be done
I cannot fathom the depths of incompetence exhibited by every staff member. Nothing works, so they blame CVS. Based on their personal recommendations, I have to go elsewhere. Favorite quote from others here "Have the common decency to recommend new customers to other pharmacies if you can’t handle the ones you have now."
They are currently running 2 weeks behind in filling prescriptions. 2 weeks. There should be a law against a pharmacy that cannot fill prescriptions as needed; this is people's health on the line! The drive-thru is not open "due to staffing" but you don't know that until you have pulled half-way around the building. Their "staffing issues" are likely because no one wants to work there. They refuse to answer the phone. Their automated system is not accurate. The only way you can find the status of a prescription is by going in there. Not through the drive-thru.
Left in tears. People don’t go to a pharmacy for luxury items, for frivolous gifts, or materialistic fun. They go to the pharmacy for medications most need to get through their day to day. I call my prescriptions in early every single time. And every single time I have to go in person to ensure that it is received, to which every time it is not. I’ve called every time in advance to prevent myself from having to make numerous trips, but my calls are never answered and instead left on hold til the call drops. So each month the cycle begins again of going in, being told to come back tomorrow, and then tomorrow comes around and it’s still unavailable. I recognize the understaffing issue and the general frustration the pharmacists and staff have to deal with from the public. However, when the discussion behind the counter is about how entitled the customers are for expressing their frustration over not getting their medications - I find myself with a little less Grace. I just don’t understand the lack of empathy when your job is to provide people with the meds they need. Not want. Need. Have the common decency to recommend new customers to other pharmacies if you can’t handle the ones you have now.
I arrived at 1:45pm to pick up a prescription that had been called in the day before. I was first in line when they reopened at 2pm, and they told me it wasn't ready yet but would be in 20 minutes. No problem. I went back up 20 minutes later. She said it still wasn't ready. and it would be another 20 minutes. Unfortunately I couldn't wait any longer because my kids had to be picked up. On my drive home, I get an automated call saying that the medicine was out of stock and being ordered. Would have been great to know that when I went up to get it both times. They just blankly stare at you when you ask questions. This isn't an ice cream store where they just happen to be out of your favorite flavor- it's a pharmacy where people tend to be in pain and really need their medication, and they aren't communicating well with each other or their customers. The one bright note was a pharmacist on the phone named Jen. She was cheerful and incredibly helpful.
