The pharmacist, Justin, has been blatantly and consistently rude. He completely lacks self control and he has an extreme and outrageous condescending tone. I will never ever use this location again and it may be time for me to leave CVS altogether. He took an oath that he definitely has not abided by. He has absolutely no kindness within him, especially as it concerns Black customers. It’s utterly disgusting and I have lost all respect for him. This type of behavior should not be tolerated. I’m a highly educated Black woman who has had a horrible experience with Justin on more than one occasion. He spoke to me like I was ignorant and then tried to taunt me when he was exposed for it. He is absolutely disgusting. He is arrogant and absolutely full of himself. He should not be allowed to work with people. It’s beyond disturbing and unsettling that he immediately gets upset when asked simple and respectful questions. Don’t waste your time at this pharmacy if you are looking for the consistency and kindness that all customers deserve. This is not my first time dealing with a racist pharmacist at CVS. If this is what CVS will continue to allow, I can easily move on to where I will be treated how I deserve to be.
Prescription transmitted by physician, arrived 2 hours after I was told it was to be ready only to find that only half of my prescriptions had been filled. Pharmacy offered no responsibility or solution for their mistake, except to wait until they got around to filling the prescription. This has been a recurring issue with this staff. It seems they have hired an inept staff with issues reading and following detailed prescriptions.
I have been getting my meds from this pharmacy over 7 years and always have had top tier service, even when they are overwhelmed the staff and pharmacist are pleasant!
The store is nice. I’ve never had an issue with that part of this location. So, they get the star. I But The Pharmacy, on the other hand, makes you feel like an inconvenience. I’ve had 2 dental procedures in the past 3 months. Both times I’ve come to the drive through with the prescription for antibiotics and anti inflammatory medication. The first time I was told that it would be 3hours…I said, I’m in a lot of pain, and I just really need to go home and not come back out, I told them I would be happy to wait and drive back around, and they just looked at me like, “oh well…sorry ‘bout your luck lady.” Same exact thing today…except this time I was told it would be an hour….same look along with a shrug this time. I’m not entitled, but I am a waiting and paying customer. I thought that’s what the drive through was for? My insurance is CVS Caremark, otherwise I wouldn’t even consider using them. Very disappointed. They have plenty of money, and my lowly business doesn’t matter much to them, but I think I’ll take it elsewhere.
Pharmacy is great! Always the friendliest and most caring staff. Tonight Rusty was amazing. He went over and beyond helping my family when one of our kids was less than excited about getting a flu shot.
It's a convenience store attached to a poorly run pharmacy. But that's what you should expect from pharmacy chains. Save your money and shop online or at Walmart or Target.
This CVS although it was super hot on the inside of the store was great about how they handled both of my Vaccine shots. The staff did a great job and had someone up front to book and set the appointments and even help new people book appointments as well. Good job to CVS on how they have handled Covid as well. I barely had to wait before getting the shot.
I went to get my medication after being told by my physician my PA was approved. The guy in the pharmacy told me I could check back Monday to see if the PA was approved because it wasn’t approved yet. I walked away, then came back to ask if GoodRx would cover my prescription since I was withdrawing off my meds. Before I could ask, the female pharmacist said “uh oh.” ????? So I asked my question and the guy said no, because he said I didn’t have any refills. I left confused, so I called a pharmacist I know and asked what was up. He said that makes no sense and called the pharmacy to inquire about it. I was then able to pick up my prescription that had an approved PA and available refills. I’m lucky I knew someone to call and advocate for me and I feel sad that others will have to go without the medications they need just because the pharmacy staff doesn’t feel like looking into it.
The lady there was the manager I guess. She was very rude I walk to the photo counter, and she ignored me. She did not speak or even look at me. There was noone there so there was no need to be rude or pretend i wasn't there. The other girl was nice that finally helped me . A white man came, and the lady I think her name is pallette spoke to him kindly ask if he needed help. I will not go back to this store. If this lady is a manager she needs some training on how to treat people. If I weren't a good person I would have had choice words for her. I'm sure she's just an unhappy individual ha. So this CVS in Trussville Alabama lost a customer due to lack of experience on how to treat customers
I’m not one to leave reviews often but I’m doing this to bring it to the attention of the staff here. I dropped off my prescription at 7:15 and she was so sweet and said they would be able to get to it before closing so I told her I would wait over on the side. She very sweetly made sure i was signed up to be notified via text. 30 minutes later I got a call they needed my Insurance Info. I went back to the window and they said they actually didnt and I asked her how long it would be and she said 15 to 20 minutes because they are 3 hours behind. I told her I would wait since I had already been waiting 30 minutes. She apologized and said OK and then 35 minutes later I was still waiting. I ended up leaving because I had my two-year-old with me who needed to get in the bed and will have to make a special trip back bar. I am now home and still haven’t been notified it’s ready which means it’s now been 40 minutes on top of the 30 before they called me for insurance since she told me 15-20. I feel that if someone is waiting in your parking lot, there would be some more urgency or a suggestion that i should plan to come back. There was no one else in the drive-thru and the parking lot was empty, so I am certain I was one of the only ones waiting on a prescription. This is just super poor customer service.
