While their inside and lack of selection leaves much to be desired, their pharmacy is on point! I have been a Walgreens customer since birth. My parents used them and my mom's parents before her. After moving to Brenham a few months ago, we had nothing but ridiculous problems with Walgreens. We tried CVS one day and haven't looked back. They even caught a drug interaction on medications I have been taking for nearly 3 years. They are thorough and organized. Rxsare ready when promised if not before. I also like that I have the option to get and respond to texts to confirm or deny refills. If they had the cosmetics and self-care selection and atmosphere of Walgreens, I think they would take off.
Dear Erika, I do apologize that your limited experience was bad, but I'll have you know that at the time you posted that comment, I was the only technician working there. I was there everyday, all hours, for over a month. I had no time to answer your call because I was helping the line of people both inside and at the drive thru while trying to get prescriptions out on time, which was pretty much near impossible. On top of that, the district pharmacy supervisor knew about my situation and essentially did nothing. I try my best every single day to help people with problems regarding their medication. In fact, I know so many people by name from working there, I see them around town and we say hi to each other. I don't know if anyone truly understands what it is like working back there. I get accused of "standing around" when I literally have to race against the clock to get prescriptions out on time and I'm busy counting out your medication. When I read reviews like these, it feels insulting to know that no one stops to consider the little guy.
Staff very rude. I was told I could not wait in drive thru for insurance processing and there were no other cars waiting behind me. I will never use this pharmacy. If I could rate them zero I certainly would. It's no wonder there are never customers at this cvs.
I called numerous pharmacies in the area to get the cash price of a rx since I wasn't covered by insurance. Every other pharmacy was able to answer my questions except cvs. I called and the girl on the phone said I would have to come in to find anything out and hung up on me.
The pharmacy tech gave out my wife's personal information of what prescriptions she was on to a family member without my wife's consent. She also has messed up numerous prescriptions and even gave a injectable medicine that is not suppose to be given to anyone but a doctors office.
Called pharmacy, I guess the system automatically places you on hold. Waited for five minutes. No answer. Not surprised. But going to Walgreens instead.
This store has been permanently closed.
