Luckily I found what I needed they are always under stocked and missing personnel not enough people running the store pharmacists are rude there wouldn't use them if my life depended on it. Carpets need to be changed in that place when you walk into the store there's a musty smell. The only bright spot is when I tried to do self checkout in the machine malfunctioned the lady McKenzie came over and helped me very professional very cordial very nice young person she said the machines start talking about put your stuff in the bagging area even when nobody's using them always malfunctioning at least you got an honest person on your payroll that's cordial and wants to help people get more people in there like her they'll have a better store and fire and replace your Pharmacy personnel read the other reviews I'm not the only one that feels that way.
CVS is good they are changing their products they carry. They are trying to turn more to healthy living. They are getting rid of a lot of stuff not good for you.
Went to get the Covid shot, there was no one there waiting before me. The two staff one claimed manager made me wait 20 mins while they packed now arriving patients meds. I already Nervous about getting the shot and the time they made me wait for no reason was inexcusable. There was a needle left hanging out of the sharps container for anyone to grab. The “manager drew the needle up before I could see what it was she was drawing up. I asked to see and she refused. I did not take the shot as I don’t know what she wanted to inject in me. Or what brand. I asked for the corporate number and she liked saying 1800 cvs. Worst costumer service ever. Disgrace to CVS. Unprofessional
1 If your medication is not in stock they don’t make any effort to let you know when it comes in or even if it’s going to be ordered. 2. The hours keep getting reduced. It appears to be a very undesirable place to work. There is a large turnover of employees. Only two employees seem to been there over three years. Expect to wait if you want to talk to one of the pharmacist. Who knows what minimum qualifications they even have. I am amazed that they’re even our people waiting in line. Expect a moderate wait. 3. I was going there for many years. I stopped because multiple other problems have become unbearable. 4. This definitely is Not a Covid problem. I have seen it coming on in the last couple years that I’ve been there pre-Covid. 5. There are photos online that show behind the scenes it’s filthy and organized.
I have been using this CVS for over 15 years. My family has multiple medical issues that require us to take a number of prescriptions and I have always found the pharmacy staff to be extremely helpful, many of them know my name without being asked; a small thing to be sure, but it brings a smile to my face. I find the store personal to be helpful and courteous and would recommend this store to anyone.
All CVS are NOT created equal. I notice that the one in Mays Landing is much quicker and more efficient than the one in nearby Egg Harbor Twp, and I think that is due to long-time employees who work there and seem to still care about customers. I would say that CVS needs LESS technology..... all those home reminder calls....and MORE of these caring individuals working for them! Also, after receiving my second reminder, I just made an extra trip there only to find that the "pharmacy" closed at 6:00 pm on a Saturday, even through the store stayed open to 10:00, as advertised. Very annoying!
They gave me the wrong dosage even though I tried to make sure they did not do that BEFORE they even refilled my prescription by providing them with the label for the prescription from the previous pharmacy. I requested they make a photocopy of the label so they wouldn't mess it up, but they refused to do that because, according to the clerk, that's not how they do things there. As I suspected, they got the dosage wrong; this could have been avoided if they had just done as I asked, but I guess they couldn't afford the paper to make a copy of the label. The dosage they gave me was 4 times greater than what the prescription was for, and If I had taken the amount they gave me, I would probably have ended up either dead or in the emergency room with a serious injury.
Call always a positive experience at this CVS
Love CVS! The employees are always so nice & helpful. Love the pharmacy as well. They are all very pleasant & knowledgeable. They are fast also.
Today 8/3 I went to buy a box of cereal. There was a long line to pay despite 2 cashiers. People in the line had shopping carts full of stuff so it was taking a long time to check out. While I was waiting a gentlemen was standing there doing nothing but saying hello and good-bye to customers. Ever think of training him on the cash registers??!!!! Since you decided to also become a small grocery store, why not use some of their techniques to get people out quickly if they have only a few items. For instance: express lines and self check out lines??? I could have been in an out of a big store like Acme in much less time.
