Pharmacy never answers the phone. I had a script that was quite urgent but they were out of stock so I called around. The CVS in Clark had it in stock but they needed to call this CVS to release the script. Hours trying to reach the pharmacy and no one answers. My sister had to go into this CVS just to realize they were purposely not answering the phones cause they "didn't want to deal". I understand if this was just some random customer service depth but this is the pharmacy, you're dealing with people's lives.
Worst pharmacy ever! I made an appointment for Covid-19 vaccine shot at 2:30pm and arrived 10 minutes before and checked, but 2:45pm.. nothing.. 3:00pm.. no one pay attention to waiting line they are just working for drive-through or pick-up orders. I’ve seen them for an hour and seems like, they don’t pay attention to anything. Waiting people.. phone calls.. Anything!! If you are sick and need to pick-up your prescription order, I recommend NOT to use this pharmacy!! You should find somewhere else even there is little bit far from your house, but much faster than you use this pharmacy.
Where do I start, I had a 6am appointment for my COVID booster shot and the area where they do the shots was filthy. The pharmacist acted like he did not know what he was doing. Then after my booster shot I told him I needed to pick up my prescription. Even though the prescription was just filled yesterday he could not find it and told me to come back later. I have never seen such an unorganized and dirty pharmacy. The store portion is fine but someone needs to do an inspection on the pharmacy.
The people are nice enough. Some of them anyway, but they never answer the phone. I’ve been on the phone for 22 minutes now. This has happened many many many times. But only now am i annoyed enough to leave a review. Plus, this place has a second line to put in your prescription. So if you took your lunch break to go pick up your meds, and they left out one and you tell them to fill the one they missed, they tell you to go wait in another line to get it filled. Then come back in the line you were just in to get it. It’s absolutely insane! I wanna say there aren’t enough people working there, and that’s the problem. But I’ve literally been in there and saw like 12 people working in the pharmacy. So, it must be standards and training. CVS, please train your employees and set standards that they must meet. If there’s still a problem, ask your employees how that problem can be solved, and make it happen. It’s not hard! This place is really a mess. And this place is a lifeline to lots of people around here. So, just find someone who cares and do better!
Worst service. I came to pick up my son's medication at 2 pm today. Waited for about 20 minutes at the "Pick up" window, and paid $24 for the medication. I asked the cashier will my insurance cover it. The cashier talked to a pharmacist and told me yes. So he refunded me and asked to wait at the line for "Consultation" window. After another 30 minutes, the pharmacist started to input my insurance information. She keep typing for about 10 minutes, and asked me many questions: is it your only card? Is he your first child? What is your SSN? Then she told me there are some issues, and she needs to call the insurance company. After 10 minutes, she told me she cannot find the billing information, and i need to pay for the medication. There is nothing wrong with my insurance card, I have used it many times at Walgreen, pediatrics and other places. I then asked my pediatrician to transfer my son's medication to the Walgreen nearby, and they have no issue with my insurance card. Do not waste your time at this CVS. They have such a low rating for a reason!
Has to be the worst run pharmacy in the state if not the whole country. Never have prescriptions ready on time. No one ever picks up the phone so you have to waste a trip there to find out they haven’t gotten to it yet! Went there today with my phone still on hold for over an hour! No one on line only one person at the counter. There were 3 other girls talking and walking around. One was filling a box of empty pill containers. The pharmacist “Shreef” was filling a prescription and couldn’t be bothered by anyone or anything. I made sure they heard me loud and clear !!
Very clean location and the lines move pretty fast. The times I’ve come here it’s always been a pleasant experience. Keep up the great work!
This place is rude and terrible, Management really needs to step up service because this happens to be the worst CVS I've been too. I thought calling them on the phone would be easier and the call stays on that terrible looped voice announcement that just keeps repeating. WHO IS MAMAGING THIS PLACE??? I wanted to give a 0 STAR but wont be able to post this it until I gave them the undeserving 1 start rating... I'm so Discussed that this place that does not care about the people that keeps them in Business! So far an hour on this call and nobody picks up.... how are they still in business with work ethics so low?
I am a CVS customer for about 22 years and get good service from the CVS on Main St in Woodbridge. Recently, i TWICE i used CVS Rahway for a prescription because my local CVS pharmacy was out of stock. The first time they texted me to let me know they had my order. A couple hours later I went to pick it up. i waited a half hour in line and when i got to the register i was told the order not yet prepared because there was a $44 charge and they needed my ok to buy it. I had to leave and return later and again wait in a half hour line to get my prescription. I asked the girl at the time why they had not texted me to let me know the order was on hold; she said she did not know. The second time nobody was at the second counter; there was only a girl at the register. I waited a half hour in line and was told the order was again on hold. I cursed the store loudly and repeatedly as I departed, furious. They have the worst customer service i have ever seen in a pharmacy and i will die before i go there again.
I wish I could give ZERO STARS bc that is how fed up I am. I have been to this pharmacy 3 times because they refuse to answer the phones anymore and when I go to pick up prescriptions they apparently never received them, don’t have any them, or don’t have the correct information, and I have to end up waiting to have them look into the issue or fill the prescription upon arrival. Management really needs to retrain this department because i have literally been there in person for at least half hour and hear the phone ring and ring and ring and no one bothers to pick it up. Now my doctor has also been trying to call them bc they keep telling me prescription is not covered by insurance at all when the doctors office has spoken with the insurance company directly and confirmed that it is mostly covered. And if the pharmacy reps would just bother to pick up the phone maybe they can clarify whatever the error is on their end but they never answer and now I’m running out of my medicine. This is just ridiculous that I have to go in for a fourth time only to hear from them again probably that they still don’t have the correct information
