When I'm told a prescription is ready to be picked up, I expect it to be ready for me to pick it up. Not not ready for me to pick it up. There have also been multiple times I've gone in for prescriptions that I needed immediately, that they inform me is completely out of stock and I have to wait days until they arrive. Not great.
I recently switched to Wright Ave CVS because we moved to Williston. I am very pleased with the pharmacy. With that said, the rest of the store was a dirty dump. It looked like it had not been vacuumed for weeks. The pharmacy looked clean.
CVS was my the third pharmacy visit of the day. I was looking to fill a prescription that the periodontist had ordered in the form of a “dose-pack”-.The first two pharmacies turned me away saying “we do not have that in stock”, but we could order it. At CVS the pharmacist also said that it was not in stock, but that he could put it together. When I returned to pick it up I gave him my most appreciative thanks and he gave me the answer that one wants to hear from a medical professional. Well, “we don’t want to delay treatment when I can put it together for you. It’s the same medication, I just make sure the dose is correct.” Also, this was during a very busy time for all three pharmacies. I was so impressed by his calm cool attitude with so much else going on.
Drove here, past another pharmacy to get meds for upcoming procedure, only to see that they changed opening time. I googled first to see hours. How about updating this info so that all the people coming and doing the same as me don't waste their time?
“Just so you know, we’re closing in 3 minutes.” Well, “Good evening” to you as well. Manners are no longer required in the world of retail. The term “customer service” has fully evolved to the classification of being an oxymoron. And I’m the a**hole as the customer for wanting a pain reliever at the last minute, no matter what. All of a sudden, I find that I actually long for 1985... I NEVER thought that to would be possible. It makes me want to push your buttons...FYI, Bunny-love.
the young man pharmacist was RUDE and completely uninterested in helping me find an over the counter decongestion. Refused to answer my questions about asthma and treatments, i was genuinely looking for help/guidance. Will not be returning to this CVS.
I've been going to this CVS for a little over a year and have always found the people there friendly enough. Tonight though, I was really disappointed. I had called them to ask a question about a new prescription and was hoping to update my insurance prior to running over there to pick it up for price related reasons and after being placed on hold for 8 minutes - which I understand, it gets busy - I was told by the pharmacist that she "did not have time for me" as there were "a thousand people waiting in person." The thing is, I would have been there 20 minutes later asking her the same exact question... Anyways, the thing that really got to me was her tone - completely exasperated and clearly annoyed. I've already called another local pharmacy, who very pleasantly greeted me and took my information, and will be going there from now on. All it takes is one poor experience and being disrespected on the phone like that was enough for me.
Love the pharmacy dept!!!! Amazing kind and patient staff! They give vaccines as well
Pharmacy staff is usually half way decent, but this experience was anything but. The young woman that ‘helped’ me was clearly borderline unwilling to do her job in its most basic form. I had a prescription transferred from another pharmacy in which I’ve been filling regularly covered through my insurance provider. The prescription was there and transferred; but an issue arose with my insurance information. She gave them one call, tried to change the addres on file and gave up from there she’d Never consulted with me which address to be using in the first place. Clearly this is not an insurance issue, but rather lack of discretion and knowledge on the staffs behalf. After a long, frustrating 30+ minute wait there was no resolution, other than I would pay for the prescription, and take the time out of my own day to actually determine what they’d done incorrectly. The most frustrating part was the borderline condescending attitude of the young woman. I’m there to fill a prescription, not be talked down to by a young, inexperienced staff member who couldn’t complete a simple task to begin with. I look forward to taking my time and business elsewhere.
Pharmacy is full of people who hate their lives... I guess they dont tell them im school that they will probably have to talk to people.
