As of the writing of this review, the pharmacy is horrifically understaffed—and it shows. Sometimes, a prescription will show up in the app as pending, and I'll need to call them so they actually fill it... I'm patient, so I don't mind sitting on hold for half an hour or so if it means someone will pick up and fill my meds—but when I called Friday, I was on hold for 2 hours. When my mother went to collect my meds she had to notify them in person so they'd fill it!, she had to wait in a very long line. Apparently, they have not been picking up the phone at all!? The pharmacy staff are friendly in-person, but clearly they need more hands on deck. Not sure what's going on here, but someone should seriously look into this. Hire more staff—and if your hires are quitting, please figure out why. I understand that things are a bit crazy, but there are people who rely on their meds to live and who, unlike me, don't have the free time to wait on hold for 30-60 minutes.
Made me wait over 40 minutes for their pharmacist to check their invoice just to tell me they didn’t receive anything which was a lie it was called in at 7:50 and I was there from 8:10-8:50. Explained I had a fever over 100 but they still made me sit and wait while their pharmacist dilly dallied. Claimed I had no account with CVS and had never filled a prescription with them also a complete lie Now they’re claiming they need hours to fill it it’s a simple antibiotic. Was very clear the pharmacist did not have any clue what he was doing.
I would give this pharmacy zero stars if I could. This location is understaffed and poorly managed. People must wait in line for a very long time, which is difficult for the many elderly people who frequent this location. Furthermore, they make lots of mistakes. I pick up prescriptions for my elderly mother, and they frequently give me the wrong medications. And, while standing in line, I've overheard others telling the pharmacist that they too have just received the wrong med. I don't normally write reviews, but what's going on at this CVS is unconscionable. The staff are very kind, but there simply aren't enough of them to get the job done properly.
Incompetent, impatient, and rude staff for the most part. Refused to help fill a script when all they had to do was follow directions on the computer, and call my insurance if they had questions-which my insurance instructed us to do. Was on hold for total of about an hour and hung up on. On another visit to find an alternative OTC drug to an old medication, the head pharmacist had a hard time suggesting a prescription drug name and therefore the OTC.....Visit this location if you like your pharmacists to have things spelled out for them
This place is a hot mess. The pharmacist literally told the lady in front of me to switch pharmacies because “the other one’s way better”. Not sure what’s going on here but it is not a reliable way for people to get their medication. The place is incapable of performing basic pharmacy duties and I’ve decided to switch to somewhere much farther just so I can….actually get my meds lol
Pharmacy has gone way downhill. It's always a battle for me to get a script filled...Holds even though my Dr called in an approval, delays, delays, long waits..terrible.
Worst and slowest in Brighton. Feel bad for people calling because you can't see them ignore the phone completely.
I was there this afternoon. The Manager kept rushing the employees, and as a result providing mediocre service. My CVS coupons were not triggering discounts at the self-checkout, and an employee, Meera, suggested she checked it out at the cashier register. As she patiently and diligently helps me with the coupons, the manager comes over and starts rushing Meera, being dismissive about my coupons and stating that if Meera voids the transaction once more, I'll have to pay whatever amount the system shows, knowing that my discounts were not working! Meera truly provided excellent service, but the manager scolded her attitude rather than praising it. The manager made me feel uncomfortable, antagonizing me for using coupons. Unfortunately I couldn't get her name, I was too scared at the time.
There is no public bathroom here , and I had to really goo! The manager was so nice, kind and understanding. He allowed me to use the employee bathroom , even though they have a policy ! He cared enough and had empathy for a stranger , thank you !
The fact that I waited on hold for 2 hours on two separate occasions is ridiculous
