Beware of the clinic staff here- I went in for a skin concern and the provider told me it looked liked [insert random nonsense condition], then prescribed me to start on medication, no testing, no follow-up. We talked about medical history and I absolutely did not fit the case. I definitely did not take any of the prescribed medication. Thankfully, I got a second opinion from a dermatologist and they told me it was [insert condition that makes complete sense]. These places are really trying hiring anybody to convince patients of anything to get their money. Please choose somewhere else AND get a second opinion. :
Better than Walgreens, which isn’t saying much. The only reason they’re better at this point is because their pharmacy isn’t randomly closed for hours or days at a time. Besides that, they’re all the same at this point. Got a prescription from an EMERGENCY ROOM late on Friday into Saturday morning. It was supposed to be ready on Saturday. They had it in stock. It was never ready on Saturday. Fast forward to today, Sunday, and it’s still not ready. Called in the morning and was told it’d be “expedited.” The ETA online was 1:00, before I called. I finally showed up at 2:00, following ZERO communication, and was told it’s STILL not ready and that they’d need until at least 3:00 but they couldn’t promise anything. Was blankly told “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do, we’re just really busy.” I respect that their job isn’t easy, but it’s been over 36 hours since the prescription was sent in. They filled two others during that time, I don’t see why the third one is any more difficult. There’s not really another convenient option, but just know that you’re going to be sorely disappointed no matter where you go in Raymore.
CVS refused to provide a flu vaccine even though VA health had already authorized it directly to them over the phone. Additionally, all the bureaucracy between minute clinic, the pharmacy, and the VA caused me to spend an hour there, leave without a flu vaccine, and have to pay for another vaccine out-of-pocket. Never going to this CVS again.
Accidentally bought burn cream not even 2 minutes later went to return it and Woman at front would not give me a refund. I only got a store credit card that I do not need. I want my money back
Always a super slow drive thru lane! There is always a line and they take forever!! It is always faster to go inside, but when you don’t want to get kids in and out it’s impossible! Can’t figure out why it’s always so much slower than any other place I’ve been. Seems to be their biggest complaint. Otherwise, the employees outside of the pharmacy area are always super friendly.
Clinic staff was very rude and quick to blame patients. Either show up earlier than the 15min youre supposed to and be prepared to wait an hour or find another location because the way she treated us was not okay. Walked out and wont be going back
This is my pharmacy, and I am generally happy with it.
This is the worst pharmacy in the surrounding area. Avoid this store at all cost. You do all of the work getting your own scripts several times because they don't check there messages or there lines after the doctors have sent over the scripts. They make you get multiple scripts because they are to busy to check the lines. My doctors have already reported them to the state for sending there own customers after multiple scripts. Because they are to lazy to see the scripts have been sent over several times. You do everything but put your meds in the bottles. I'm going to start asking for a paycheck for doing all the work. Because they sure are not doing anything.
We had a glitch, and the local Team Rallied! I was so so sick when I signed up on-line for the covid test; I gave my work phone# instead of cell #. I was sitting in the designated parking lot for 45 minutes waiting for that call... that never came. Unfortunately, the CVS phone system isn't great Note to CVS Corporate- not good to keep circling around and then hang up! And no, the texting option wasn't working. But! the pharmacy Team acted once I got through... they worked with the nurse who got right on it... and we got me in and tested, and back home lickity-split. Thank goodness I'm covid-negative, but sick is sick! Thanks Team!
Scheduled a rapid covid test today was told to park in designated spot and the team would call at that point I parked in apparently is not the spot even though states it was for almost 40 min. Could not get through to a human to ask what's up got no call etc finally as I was leaving I noticed a make shift ground sign that was on the other side of the lot litterily laying flat on the ground that no one would see unless you went through the drive thru another 10 minutes before anyone came out. Talk about a joke when your sick frustration galore and of course made it worse because you can not go in the store or anything. A plus was my test came back and a call in 20 min.
