I was profiled and discriminated against in this Cvs store. I had a Eucerin product to return and a guy in this Cvs store who claims to be the manager of the store said he will not accept my return. I asked him why and he said because he just does not want to as he doesn't think it is mine. I was surprised. I have my receipt which is very much within the return policy time frame. He did not even try or attempt to ring a return, he just said he would not do it and that I should take it back to the Cvs store I bought it from. It sounded odd to me because one can always return items bought from one Cvs to other Cvs stores. If that wasn't the case, it should have been stated on the receipt. This acclaimed managerI say this because he was wearing a black hoodie sweater that does not reflect the Cvs dress code and an associatehad told me earlierthat there was no manager around that day later said it is because the Eucerin product was not carried in that Cvs store, which was a lie. I found the same product on the store shelf of this Cvs store and I videod it. The acclaimed manager rudely walked out on me while still talking to him without accepting my return. This store deserves a zero star if there's provision for it.

Went to pick up a prescription asked me if I knew how much it was I did. I went to use a good RX coupon then proceeds to tell me. Oh no, you have to come back you’re not picking this up tonight because we’re closed. You’re not closed until the customer is taken care of. You shouldn’t reject a customer of their medication especially if they are in need of it. No one knows what’s going on with that person and to reject someone like that is unacceptable.

I’ve lived in Cromwell for almost 3 years now and always used this horrible CVs but i will be driving to rocky hill from now on to pick up prescriptions, after tonight. First of all, even though i always get text messages saying my prescriptions went through even sometimes after 24+ hours if i don’t go through drive thru to pick up and let them know i am PHYSICALLY there, it’s never ready i always have to wait 15-20 minutes and am told to pull around. Tonight i came back at 7:50pm to pick up my medication that i was told wouldn’t be ready for another 30 minutes at 6:30pm, keep in mind this medication is three individual pill capsules so it should not take 30 minutes to make anyways i come back and wait in line behind someone for over 10 minutes who isn’t being helped just for me to pull up to the window and the gentleman close the gated window down in my face. Disgusting. I had to knock on the window for a few minutes for the head pharmacist to finally give me my medication that i desperately needed tonight. Will never ever be back in this facility and definitely will be reaching out to corporate about whoever was working last night in the pharmacy because clearly that gentleman hates the career path he’s chosen.

Middle of the road pharmacy. Some consistently lazy employee behavior and demeanor that seems to be perpetual. I will say however that this year 2023 their Christmas decor selections were absolutely phenomenal!

Some of the worst customer service at this store.  They don’t check your coupons, you have to tell them what coupons you have.  Most of the cashiers are very rude, often complaining about their day.  Only go here because it’s right down the street.  The pharmacy is very helpful, great service from most of the techs.  Update 12/1/21 Still the worst service the front of the cashier was not doing a thing but made everyone use the self check out even with full carts.  She allowed one person to get checked out by her.  My stuff wasn’t scanning right and she needed to keep coming over to unlock the stupid machine.  Could have just rung me up.  I left without buying anything and will be transferring all my services to the Main Street ext CVS in Middletown, not nearly as lazy as the one in Cromwell.  Update 3/14/23 Not sure why it takes several hours to fill a basic script.  At times I have waited days for something simple like prednisone with no communication as to why it takes so long.  Horrid pharmacy unfortunately it’s who my stupid insurance contracts with

Consistently gets my prescription wrong. Have told the pharm so many times that a particular med causes hives, yet they still continue to give me that same med, which I then have to bring back.   Was in drive through two lanes I was on the outside lane.  There was a customer on inside lane they took care of,, then took care of the car behind him and "didnt see me" because they have 30 stickers up on their window!   Since I have been using them, I've had nothing but issues with medications. Going to change back to Walgreens

I don’t know what’s going on with CVS in Cromwell CT, I had taken three weeks for them to filled up my insulin that my life depends on. After being run around for different days& time. They said we don’t have it over here in this store!! You have to go to Middletown main St , I call Middletown CVS& was told Cromwell CVS sent it to them yesterday. Very disappointed. Never have I had such a terrible service like this over there. What’s going on. You people need to have a better customer service.

Better than Walgreens in town. At least CVS has your prescription. They are really busy so going there does tend to get your meds done faster. Other than that I haven't had any issues.

Worst CVS I've ever gone to just to get a covid test. Staff literally are there to take up space and collect a check for the end of the week. None of them knew what they were talking about. Made me go outside to the "drive through" for it to be closed and made me walk back inside to tell me the systems are down. I scheduled this appointment hours ago yet no one could've called me to tell me this. People don't care to do their job at the CVS in cromwell and it shows

The pharmacy staff is terrific. Ready for every question, no matter how intricate or how tedious, they are friendly, professional and genuinely caring. They are, for the most part, on time with prescriptions--though it helps to wait in store for fastest service. Given how busy this small pharmacy is throughout the day, it's a good idea to temper time expectations. That said, in general, they fulfill orders with accuracy and promptness nearly all of the time. These are good, hard-working folks doing good work.  The retail side is courteous, helpful, and professional. None of this "I'm not sure where that is" stuff here! Most employees can identify the aisle and shelf of a particular item for you. The staff is efficient and always happy to refer any question they can't answer to the pharmacist. This is top notch service from a top notch CVS--one of the very best in the state!
