This CVS was average and I have seen better. This was an average experience. However, they did a good job cleanliness and the appearance in the store. However, their customer service could be better. If you asked me would I return but I would say yes.
If I could leave negative 10 stars I would. A few months ago I went in and the CVS associate was squatted down behind the counter, looking at his phone. He wasn't please when I was still standing there wanting help, because apparently they want everyone to go to the self serve stations now. I had to put an amount on a gift card so I wasn't sure I could do that myself at the self serve. I asked him if he could do it for me, his response "you can do it yourself at the self serve." Wow, really? Sorry to interrupt you on your phone. But he did help me and I left. Today went in, asked a different associate because the one before walked right by me not offering to help if I could indeed put the amount on the card at self serve. I had no other option as no one was at the front and they had a sign pointing you to the self serve. the associate I asked was stocking wine. So I went to put the amount on the gift card and apparently hit a wrong button so I had to go back and ask him for help again. God forbid that he help someone at a store while he's working. As he went through the prompts at the register I said "Oh, I hit the wrong button there" and he literally said "Why did you do that?" LOL It's so bad it's funny. Anywho, checked out and I swear I will never step foot in there again. When they first opened a few years ago everyone was friendly, the store was clean and well stocked. Totally not the case now. I suppose it has to do with management, who knows. So long CVS.
Pharmacist, Dr. Kemi and team were incredible. My daughter had breathing issues and her prescription was out of stock! Dr. Kemi called several different locations to check on their stock, and ultimately transferred my prescription to a Walgreens yes, different company all together. I got my prescription and the day was saved. Her customer service and compassion won’t be forgotten! Despite her pharmacy being so busy…she still went above and beyond for us. Thank you!
Rarely compelled to write a review but they didn't fill my prescription due to no insurance being on filebut they have my phone number and could have called to confirm that, said it would be a 15 min wait and told me to sit down. 30 min later I walked up to find out ETA and he handed me the prescription. It has been done and they didn't call me over even though I was sitting in the sight line of the pharmacist. Bad service.
This has to be the most poorly managed CVS I’ve encountered. Specifically, I’m referring to the pharmacy… haven’t had problems with the store directly. Staff doesn’t really acknowledge customers and constantly seems overwhelmed and disorganized. They also DO NOT answer the phone. And I mean never. I’ve had about 4 bad experiences at this branch before involving the pharmacy but tried giving them a fifth try since they’re two miles from my house. Filled an antibiotic for a painful infection that I needed asap and they said they would fill if I waited 10-15 mins so I sat close to counter and waited. Stall 15 mins and they had called with automatic message saying oos. The girl who entered it never bothered to say anything to me even though I sat in front of her for 15 mins. Then says she ordered for tomorrow and I said I couldn’t wait so then had to drive all the way to Dominion. Every other time it’s been extremely long lines that never move, rude employees, automatic refills not being done etc. definitely never going back and will go out of my way to the dominion or rim locations from now on. CVS corporate needs to be made aware of how terribly this pharmacy location is being ran.
I've always had great service here. They fill the prescriptions quickly and give me a discount coupon to use when my insurance doesn't cover a prescription. The pharmacist is really nice and very professional.
Slow and slower is the best way to explain this CVS pharmacy . Also, the girl that answer the pharmacy phone eventually is very rude and not helpful.
Overall the worst experience I have ever had at a CVS. They didnt send prior authorization for medications to my doctor until I called them three times to do it. Then my insurance approved it only to find out that my prescription expired. This CVS is awful, as are the pharmacists who blamed me for my prescription expiring. Do your job, please.
I called the pharmacy regarding a prescription and got out on mutenot hold while they had to wait for the pharmacist, waited ten minutes and got hung up on. I waited a bit for a call back and then decided to just give them another call, when I spoke with the staff member she said “Oh yeah, I accidentally hung up on you”
I don’t blame the staff But seriously the worst CVS experience ever! After waiting over an hour and half after my “appointment” for a Covid booster I had to leave. They were so mismanaged they simply look at the floor and refuse to talk to customers. I later went to another CVS location. Same company, same shot, same systems, totally different experience. The difference - leadership or the lack thereof at the Pharmacy management level. CVS please help this branch.
