Motorcycle Safety Course
Cycle School of Florida provides motorcycle training including the 3-day Basic Rider Course which enables students to earn their motorcycle endorsement. Tuition includes the use of motorcycle and helmet, all instruction, textbook, meals, snacks and drinks. Students need to provide basic riding gear: long pants, long sleeve shirt or jacket, full-fingered gloves, over-the-ankle footwear, eye protection. Classes are held at the Hernando County Airport every two or three weeks.
Cycle School has been operating since 2001. All coaches are certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and the State of Florida. They are experienced motorcyclists and truly enjoy the opportunity to introduce new riders to the sport. Classes are small with at least one coach for every six students.
In addition to the Basic Riding Course, we also offer the Experienced Rider Course for riders who currently have a motorcycle endorsement and are interested in improving their skills. This is a one-day course where students use their own motorcycles.
Our mission is to provide a safe, enjoyable experience for all our students as they begin their journey toward safe motorcycling.
