Carrie, Janet, Dr smith were great and very attentive with my son! Also the lady that did my sons cat scan she was really nice! I was in and out! They came to check on my son frequently they made my son feel comfortable and he is super scared of needles! He didn't even flinch! Thank you ladies
After tripping over a parking “curb” and doing a face plant, the best place to go was to this ER. It was my 3rd time there in several years and I can’t say enough praise for the staff & facilities and the zero wait time. Dr. Alexander S. Milian, MD was very gentle putting 2 dissolvable stitches in my chin. The nurse “MC” was excellent too. I appreciated their professional manner and gentle procedures. God bless them both.
The nurse that was checking in patients needs to find a new profession. While I was in my room awaiting test results I could hear her VERY clearly talking badly about her patients, mocking them, joking about their symptoms, and basically being a terrible human being let alone a healthcare worker. It made me feel extremely unsafe and uncomfortable. She would also complain everytime a new patient arrived…as if that isn’t her job. I didn’t catch her name because it was 2 am and I was in so much pain but she’s blonde, probably in her 40’s, wearing lime green converse. I was there on august 8th from 2am-5am The radiologist and lady who did my CT scan were amazing though! So sweet & clearly loved their job.
I don’t know about the 2.5 stars, I give a thumbs up on the quality of service. Nurses Bennett, Lisa , Jennifer and Dr. Martinez took care of my daughter. The wait was less than 20 minutes and the care provided was thorough. We left the facility in good spirit and I will recommend this location to family and friends.
This ER is absolute garage. Took my son there tonight. I walked to the front desk and was waiting for a front desk employee so I could sign in. A lady in a security guard outfit was sitting at a table behind us. Very rudely, she said “ma’am, please have a seat!”. Didn’t explain where I could sign in, or if anyone would be there to help us. I sat down only to search up another place to go. As I sat there, no one arrived at the front, nor did anyone explain why I had to sit down or where I could sign in. Before I left I let the lady know that a little compassion goes a long way. I have a sick child, he’s going through it, I’m going through it, and didn’t need someone making our night worse. I use to go to the er all the time when it was north cypress. Never going there again.
Dr. Amit Patel wasted my visit to the ER by telling me that they don’t do the Strep test there and that I just have a viral infection and that they don’t give out Doctors notes for “a sore throat”. Even heard him mocking me with the nurses in the back, what an unprofessional jackass! After this nonsense I went someplace else and got diagnosed with strep throat and was provided with medication AND a note restricting me from attending work for the next two days, as strep is highly contagious..I came back to file a complaint with John Teamon who claimed he would speak to the director and that someone would be calling me to speak about my experience. Still haven’t received that call and I doubt anyone will be calling me. This place is a joke and if they even try to bill my insurance for my visit I’m going to report them for fraud!!!
All the nurses are rude especially to black people. Lisa and Annie are rude and do not need to be in the nursing profession. Neither one of them have compassion or care for others.
I went here when I broke my pelvis and they told me I was “just banged up” yet 6 weeks later I was still in IMMENSE pain and went to Memorial Herman and they told me my pelvis was shattered in 4 DIFFERENT spots. I went there again last week after having a very bad seizure at home and another one in the hospital bed at the ER yet I was sent home with no medicine to help me, only nausea pills just told to make an appointment with a doctor. Mind you this was right before Christmas and I called 3 different doctors who were all booked til January And I had ANOTHER seizure at home after leaving and can’t see a doctor for medication til the beginning of January. I will never come back here. You shouldn’t go either.
My daughter was delivered at this hospital on a Saturday, we were released on Monday. I was very impressed with the service. There were very few other deliveries while we were there. The nurses were amazing. Very helpful, very nice. They made sure my wife and daughter were very well taken care off at all hours, but also allowed them to rest and did not interrupt too often. My last daughter was born at a different hospital, and it seemed like we never saw the same nurse twice, and no one was monitoring progress. Cypress Fairbanks hospital was much better, the same nurses visited and kept a very close eye on all issues throughout the weekend. The one complaint is the guest sleeping accommodations. In the delivery room or the prep room for us, since we had a C section operation there is a very nice large couch. However after the baby is delivered we were transferred to the long term recovery room where we stayed for 2 days. This room only had a strange pull-out chair for me to sleep on. It was a bit difficult to set up correctly, and was never terribly comfortable. Why no sofa in this room? The cafeteria is also very small and not at all good, I drove across the street to the Dairy Queen and Wendy's when hungry. The nurse and doctor care here was phenomenal, and they took good care of my wife and baby, so I would give the birthing center high grades.
The doctors are great! The ER experience wasn't the best and it took so long I was in so much pain. I was having a miscarriage in the waiting room screaming and crying. Finally I went to the back and everything went fast everyone was SUPER nice to me. I loved everything. I went in for surgery the next morning and everything went well. Again nice staff and the best nurses and doctors. Everyone was kind. I will definitely come to this hospital any time. The one close to my house sucks this is an extra 4 miles but it's worth it!
