Da Plantation Bar and Grill

Short review: ++awesome food + fair prices - average service. This a really cool place to catch some food. When we arrived there were plenty cars parking already, but there was no problem finding a parking space. We got our table quickly, and ordered: - the plantation burger $16 with Cajun fries $4 - shrimp tacos $18 with Cajun fries $4 As many reviews already pointed out, it took some time till our drinks and food arrived. The food was really tasty, although the Cajun fries were a little bit too salty for my taste. Nevertheless I enjoyed the meal. The service was average till poor. My girlfriend ordered another drink when eating. The drink arrived when we finished our meal. We asked for the bill and wanted to drink the last sip talking to each other, when the waitress was already starting to clean up our table and waiting for her getting done the drink, because she wanted to take the glass with her. That was a no go for us. To sum up: it's a good restaurant to get your food. So catch up some, if you can deal with average/bad service. Prices are fair too :

I enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere and the roosters & hens walking around, our server Ms. Ashley was very professional and pleasant. The fritters was flavorful n conchy.. the corn bread had me wanting more. Everything was a 10/10. Can't wait to visit again.Food: 5/5

Had a great time. The bartenders were attentive and responsive, and the chicken nachos were to die for. Love the vibe there! Check it out.... You won't regret it!

The place is beautiful and most of the staff friendly, the food was good. Only issue I had here was it took long for service and for orders to come to the table. I do recommend once you have patience.

If you’re getting the grilled grouper, beware, it is grilled and smothered in green and red peppers and plantains. It is extremely spicy unfortunately so spicy that you can’t taste the fish. Service was decent, but it is definitely a local restaurant and not really catering to the tourist. And my partner had a cheeseburger which looked delicious and he also said it was very good he.

Bahaa and the other staff members took great care of me and my family for my 35th birthday. The service was warm, the attitudes of the staff were pleasant and best of all, everything was correct! Considering we had a party of 20 people and there wasn’t one mistake speaks to the efficiency of this restaurant and we couldn’t be happier.

This is the best place to eat and drink in the Bahamas! Friendly staff, great food, good prices, and a lovely environment. We went several times during our trip and LOVED the place. The doorman is helpful and sweet, and the entire staff is friendly and hospitable. It's a must visit!Food: 5/5

The service is impeccable!! I had the opportunity to plan my son's 35th Birthday and Da Plantation was superb!! The host Bahaa is like non other!! He made everything so easy and was extremely accommodating with all our requests..Plantation is the place for a wonderful time!! Great food, great atmosphere, awesome service, and the place to be for a lasting and memorable occasion ...can't wait to go back!!
