Food was excellent. The owner was right behind the counter making everything, and genuinely cared about my satisfaction. Food was excellent, I had the smothered tamales with eggs. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the tamales were delicious as well as the green chill. The owner was fairly accommodating and willing to make off menu items. Everything is made from scratch including the ketchup. I'll be back.
Gluten free, home made meats; sauces; and desserts; allergen free recipes; salads, breakfast lunch waffles, crepes; friendly Wyoming family owned- greek salad was bomb! Reuben fresh and comforting; conscious food for healthy living !
The best customer service!!! The owner greeted us and made us feel at home. Our food was cooked to order, fresh, pure, not over salted. You could actually taste the food you were eating, not caked on fake seasoning. Everything gluten-free, which is a bonus for me! We absolutely will go again to try breakfast next time!!! Bravo! Excellent job, Dad's Cafe crew!!! These picky Texans were happy with our experience!
The food was delicious that customer service was outstanding this guy really knows what he's talking about when it comes to gluten-free diets. Perfect option for a Celiac no need to worry about anything because he's got it all covered. Some of the best sausage patties that I have ever had. Cinnamon rolls were mighty tasty. Quaint little cafe really decently priced definitely worth checking out again and again.
The food was great. It's refreshing when The cook land staff know what's in the food, to help with any allergies anyone may have. Everyone was very friendly. The food was good! The portion size was on the smaller side, but we live in a society where portion size is inflated and we're all eating too much at any given time, so the sizes here are probably more true to how much we should be eating at a meal. Overall, we were happy and will likely return when we are in town again.
Excellent Food & Service! I am pleased that the staff knows the source of every item on the menu. Can't wait to try every one! Make sure to save room for a yummy baked treat - we had cookies and brownies - they were divine! Great to have a place that is safe for people with gluten issues - everything is so good you would never know!
Just had a great first experience at Dad's! The restaurant has an open kitchen so I got to talk directly to the person preparing my food the owner!. He helped me choose an entree that was GF/DF. I had the chicken piccata salad and my kids both had burgers; we shared a couple of cinnamon rolls for dessert. The food was excellent, appropriately proportioned, and all gluten free! The entire staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, I felt totally confident that my order was safe for my food allergies. I will definitely be back... can't wait to try the tamales with eggs and homemade green chili!
Just had breakfast here and the food was delicious. I only wanted eggs and bacon as I am on a special diet and the owner/cook was very accommodating and didn’t charge me for the extra requested egg since I didn’t want any bread or potatoes. My 4 year old son ate his entire waffle with strawberries and my husband really enjoyed the tamales a dish he usually doesn’t like but decided to try. The coffee was excellent. Excellent priced too. Here’s the thing about the negative comments here. This is real food. If you are used to foods with added sugar, salt and preservatives because that is all you eat then this food might be a little different. Unfortunately there are not too many restaurants in Cheyenne that provide organic freshly made food like Dads does. Thanks Dads Cafe for offering delicious and healthy food!
I do not agree with the negative reviews. I stopped by this establishment for the first time today, & enjoyed a wonderful panini on gluten-free bread and great cookies. When ingredients are REAL, portions do not need to be gargantuan, because they are actually nutritious, your body recognizes that. I truly hope that the people of Cheyenne will embrace this healthy & delicious local restaurant. We have needed this quality food for a very long time! Viva, Dad's Cafe!
Excellent food at excellent prices! Dad's Cafe was a welcome find on a weekend outing day. Our family has a long vegetarian and sometimes vegan history, so it was refreshing to have the whole menu open to us! We thoroughly enjoyed a wide spectrum of choices, all excellent and prepared right in front of us while we waited. We will be back when we're back in Cheyenne!
