Being a truck driver; you encounter all kinds of people when picking up and delivering loads.. These are the nicest people by far! Thank you for getting me in and out quickly.. We ALWAYS like that..
Don't come earlier than your appointment time. I arrived on a Saturday. They were VERY STRICT about coming at appointment time. Surprisingly they got me in a door on time and started unloading me thereafter. Unloading took about 2hrs and a bit unorganized. I will say the guy at the office was very helpful and understanding.
I left in 2015 when they went to 12 hours. These jobs need to go back to 8 hours and hire 1 or 2 support people per shift and have temps to help with the weekends. Use your local colleges and housewives to fill in on weekends. Alternate 12 hour weekends so one shift can have off. Treat people better and eliminate the crazy point system
Very unorganized people. Trailers are scattered all over the yard, guy at the office told me to wait until someone leaves from doors 1 and 2 and so I went back to the office to let them know no one was at either. Do they not keep up with what’s going on? Blind side back, or circle in the very back to do a more comfortable back. I wouldn’t recommend doing anything for this business unless the money was really good.
Great guys work good relationship if you came early appointment time they can’t unload your load. Don't arrive early APPOINTMENT TIME
My appointment was scheduled for 0100 but it was an impossible delivery time. I was worried after reading the reviews but when I pulled in 12 hours late I explained what happened and was immediately given a dock door to unload. The yard seems small but there's plenty of room to safely maneuver your truck and back into the door. Slide tandems once you're lined up with the dock and wait for a green light. They don't leave garbage behind in your trailer like some customers and even though I was 12 hours late, they had my trailer unloaded in less than 2 hours. Not a bad customer and I would deliver to them again.
I worked there 12 1/2yrs. I had to quit because of forced ot because we had to finish the production schedule which I understand but with being a single parent, I had no other option. the equipment was state of the art. I quit in 2015 so I don't know what it is like now. it did start to become impersonal toward the end. after working at other places, this job was a dream compared to any other I have had. it is manufacturing.... so what do you expect? gotta work to make the money. SSOOO MUCH BETTER THAN WAREHOUSES!!
Back into the dock, remove your red airline, and go to sleep. You ain't going nowhere soon. Highly recommend for drivers who write novels or are still trying to solve a Rubik's cube.
Absolutely great! Showed up way early due to bad broker info..... Remained polite and they worked with me even though they were not obligated to. Easy to find, a bit tight on maneuvering but if you know how to drive it's all good.
Good experience. They let me in early. Appointment was for 2 am got in 8:20pm , got a dock 9pm , empty 2am . Enough space for backing. No overnight parking.
