Nothing tastier than having your food sit right where they place their trash cans before opening. This ensures that when you grab your delicious blizzard that it’s covered in germs and floor residue from the previous shift. Yummy!
I stopped going to Dairy Queen because I felt like they were getting too expensive. Occasionally when I receive a coupon I'll go back and that happened a few days ago. I wanted a cone and was expecting to pay $4 for itgrumble, but I had a dollar off coupon, so ok. I forgot they had crunch conesmmmmm, and was expecting a meager cone for the $3.50 price before a dollar off. I was pleasantly surprised at the ample size of the cone and how good it still tasted. It's nice to know you can still count on some things tasting the same. I just might get a malt next time, if I find a coupon, of course. The drive thru staff was courteous, kind and very speedy with my order.
So if you have not heard or yet had the Drumstick blizzard well. Yah need to. I described to someone its like when you take the last bite of the bottom of a Drumstick icecream cone and you have that perfect mix of waffle cone, chocolate, and ice cream...yeah that is what every bite is like. I get a small since its very rich and ask for small cup of water for after! Also they made perfect each time.
Always the best. Snickers+MnMs and my brookie cookie with cookie dough are always on point.
I ordered a Oreo blizzard after specifically stating that I am allergic to any sort of nuts and I come home and guess what I got a blizzard with nuts in it the one thing I told them to not do they did
So nice to have the summer blizzard treats back! Ordered the drumstick blizzard and enjoyed every bite. The ratio of ice cream to fixings/toppings was amazing. Super impressed by the speed of the drive thru! Don't let the long line fool you. We timed ourselves with someone standing in line. As we were pulling away, the person in line was still a couple people away from window.
Unfortunately the location isn't a brazier so no burgers or onion rings etc but they always seem to find a great staff each season. The main reason i didn't give it 5 stars is because it can be difficult to get in and out of. The main entrance is located on 80th Street which has a median separating traffic going opposite directions and the sort of back way into the location is hard to find located near speedway and Las Margaritas and again spits you out onto 80th Street forcing you to telravel away from the major highway nearby. Also very few if any intersections for the next few miles down 80th Street allow U turns. Long story short, the food is good when it is in your belly, the staff is usually smart and pretty but it's hard to get to. If I were you I'd eat it.
Love their soft serve cones dipped in chocolate. On 4/12 we were served the smallest cone ever. We literally got a small skinny cone.
Try the cherry dipped ice cream cone. They are actually pretty good. I also like the triple berry smoothie.
A small and a nice chain to spend an evening with family and yourself with a cheat treat.
