Tried to go through drive through and got there 30 min prior to closing hours. Was completely ignored and tried to give benefit of the doubt that maybe my vehicle didn't register as sitting there. I pulled up and drove past the window to see employees standing in there and proceeded to circle around to the drive through again. Was still ignored for that 5 min and gave up. I then called to ask for the general managers name and next scheduled time they would be in which was provided to me so I will be calling to inform them that employees are ignoring customers and preventing sales at least 30 minutes prior to close. 5 or 10 min I could see not anticipating any more sales and starting cleanup and breaking down machines ... but 30 minutes or more is too much. I don't get to skimp out on my job 30 min prior to punching out just because I don't feel like doing what I'm getting paid to do... its a job. There are hours of operation. Not a guideline of operating hours... this being said other times I've been here I usually get a tender basket and a malt.. both of which are decent for being fast food and I've never had a problem with staff members being directly rude to me. Yes some menu items are pricey but it's still better quality than mcdonalds.
The food is alright but it's always a gamble if they'll do my order right. They forget sides, or heavily skimp out on portions. Not to mention the blizzards have just been pure liquid, they stopped holding the cup upside down for a reason. The price of ice cream has gone up and quality has dropped so hard you might as well go to chiefs and get better ice cream
The store is clean, well attended, wait staff excellent, menu pricing is not consumer friendly. Wanted a cheeseburger, onion rings, drink. Had to get combo w/fries and onion rings were Add'l 2 dollars - this is a waste of food - did not want fries - just onion rings with the sandwich.
Me and my son went in there it was around 6 PM. We watched them make our sandwich putting all put it in a Box and then microwave the whole thing topping and all. They should never be microwave like that, the toppings or anything I was very disappointed in this Dairy Queen.
I’ve been to this location twice in the last month or so, and both times I‘ve encountered the same guy. He’s newer I think- tall, dark hair, and a Chicago Bears tattoo on his hand. The first time, he couldn’t even look up at me while I was ordering in store. He was picking at the sores on his face and looked very jittery… He was rude and just didn’t seem very sanitary. Today, I went through the drive-thru where he took my money and handed me my food. He never said hi, my total, thank you, nothing. He didn’t even open the window all the way to give me my food. He pushed his hand through the middle of the two glass panes and I had to reach to grab my card and my food. The experience could have been better for sure, but a plus is the food is always great.
Ordered through Grubhub for my birthday, since their location seemed to be the only one that carried ice cream cake since I couldn't find ice cream cake on the menu for the dairy queen by where I live. This restaurant didn't mess up my order at all. The cake tasted really good as did the Oreo fudge blizzard and the strawberry shake.
They switched providers for their cocoa fudge amount other things. It's significantly worse than it used to be both in taste and texture. I usually get a peanut buster parfait and swap the hot fudge for cocoa fudge and a peanuts for pecans. This time when I got it it tasted not good I ended up eating a little bit and throwing the rest of it away. I will not be returning.
Every time we go through the drive thru and order a blizzard, it is like soup! Always as soft as can be. A normal person could not eat it while driving! I am not sure what DQ is doing differently with their soft-serve, but think someone needs to reevaluate the process, because it is not working.
Closed half an hour early, had a Doordash order to get to a customer that I drove 30 minutes to get, and told me they had no idea about it. Never coming here again lol
This is my THIRD experience at Dairy Queen where they have not given me the food I paid for. I had a $40 bill, they gave me a hot dog, and a 4 piece chicken tender instead of a 6. Completely forgot the other 6 piece, added a random unsweet tea. And forgot my cheese curds. Out of the $40 bill, I received $12 worth of the food. I’m not counting the drink I didn’t ask for.
