The Dakota County Historical Society is an organization dedicated to serving county residents and visitors through unique programming and an ever-changing schedule of events.

DCHS operates both the Lawshe Memorial Museum in South St .Paul and the LeDuc Historic Estate in Hastings. For more information on both sites or to find out more about upcoming events, please visit our website www.dakotahistory.org.

The museum is getting ready for a new display. The huge floor painting of Dakota County is impressive. I especially enjoy the old maps.
