Dales BBQ

The service was good. Had the half chicken with a sweet potato side. The chicken was dry. It seemed to have been sitting under a heating lamp for a while. The atmosphere was good, it smelled delicious, very rustic. The bathroom doors seemed to imply that women talk too much.

South Ft. Pierce, FL. GREAT sliced bbq pork with that authentic pit-smoked flavor, no sauce needed, moist and flavorful. But if you want sauce they had them on the table: “Sweet” a blend of molasses and spices; “Spicy” strong on Tabasco flavor; “Glazed” sweet with a touch of mustard and “Mild,” I tried them all on my fries.

First time visiting and really enjoyed the service and food. Restaurant was clean, Food was good and cooked to perfection. Will be returning again. Thank you for a great visit.

First time at Dale's new to Florida. I always drive by it on US1 and I noticed the parking lot is always full. So today spontaneously I pulled in and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did the staff was welcoming from the moment I walked in, they also were very accommodating when I changed an item on my order and switch from dining in to dining out. I was by myself and it was getting pretty crowded so I know it was best to give a family a big table. My order was perfect and the food is beyond delicious. If you love barbecue and you want a festive family environment for the best lunch you can have on your break definitely this is the spot.

We love Dale's and have been coming here for the last 20 years. The food is always good, very consistent and fairly priced. We always get a good family meal and everyone is satisfied. The frozen ground pork is also great to stock our freezer and use for home cooking as it tastes delicious. We will keep coming back to Dale's regularly and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good barbecue and friendly service.

My family moved here in 1975. I came here in 1985. Dales has been here as long as I remember....right down the street from the old drive-in theatre. Always been great food. I've traveled around the country and served in the military. I always craved Dales BBQ sauce while away. I now keep a bottle in my fridge. Never had bad food there & they never disappoint. Baby backs are a little small so order the full rack if that's what you're after. The sliced pork sandwich is their best item. Sliced turkey is great also. I'm not a huge pork fan but will never turn one down from Dale's. I usually order a pound of pork and turkey to go for my family. Their coleslaw is the best on the coast. Sweet tea is pretty good as well.

I’ve been going to Dale’s for as long as I can remember, and it rarely disappoints. The half-n-half tea is definitely my favorite, and the pork and chicken sandwiches are amazing. Sometimes, the food can be a little worse than usual, but it’s rare. The service is very nice and quick, even around the lunch rush. If you are looking for a great barbecue place, I highly recommend

It is not the same Dales since new owners. Food just not as good. Ordered a burger and it was thinner then McDonald's burger. Should of went to Moonswiners. Atmosphere so much better. Food is fresher, no reheated food , fries cooked. Sorry Dales, you lost another customer that has been going for over 30 years to eat.

This was probably the worst visit ever. The server was excellent as always. The food was horrible. I have never had an experience like this before at this location. The food was undercooked, and i dont know if there was a new cook or what, but it was horrible. Our server took it back and got me a fresh sandwhich but was so turned of by the first one i couldnt even eat it.
