Miami's Caribbean Art World
Daleus Museum and Art Gallery is owned by Joseph Wilfrid Daleus, a Haitian American artist, located in North Miami, Florida. Daleus started experimenting with paints, colors and sketches at a young age and sold his first painting “Paysage de Kenscoff” (landscape of a town in Haiti called Kenscoff) at the age of ten. The creations of his paintings and sculptures derive from visions and dreams that he magically puts on canvas exquisitely. He creates a fusion of primitive, impression, surrealism, abstract and classic art work that is sure to capture your attention. Daleus is not only a painter but a skilled art restorer from Haiti’s first generation of art restorers. Daleus’ artwork has been exhibited worldwide can be seen in the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam, The Brooklyn Museum, and a 3-D mural at the Haitian Cultural Art Center in “Little Haiti”, Miami, FL. His work was featured in many art/design publications including Florida’s Design Source Book. A few of Hollywood A-list celebrities own his work, now you can too by visiting his gallery in North Miami.
