The Daleville Orchard Park is designed to redeem the love outdoor learning and play through interactive stations.
The Daleville Orchard Park (originally called the Daleville Brickyard) is an educational park and orchard that is being developed right behind the Daleville Jr. Sr. High School track. The orchard was planted by students, teachers, and community members in the Spring of 2015.
Julian Ravenscroft, a teacher at Daleville High School, is the initial visionary using an educational grant he was awarded in 2014 from the Ball Brothers Foundation as the seed money to get the park started.
The park's vision is to be "connecting generations through unforgettable outdoor learning."
The park's location was chosen since it is a short walk for teachers to take their students on mini field trips and it is also central to most homes in Daleville.
