Dalicia Bakery and Coffee Shop

Description

Dalicia was a long awaited dream that started overseas. The owner, Samra Alic, an Eastern European woman developed a love for baking and cooking. It soon became her passion to knead dough and customize fondant, and Dalicia was born. It started with a few cakes here and there from home and sparked a flame to invite anyone in to try her special creations and old time classics. Dalicia is not just your average bakery, we offer breads, sandwiches, naturally infused waters, and Little Amps Coffee. Come in and try it out or give us a call for made to order items. We’ll see you there!

Bosnian, Greek, Slavic, Turkish, overall great European menu. The cakes are light and delicate. European frosting is airy, like buttermilk whipped cream and not too sweet. Honestly the best tasting cakes I've ever had, got the Peach Amaretto. Turkish coffee was okay, the water had a weird smell. Breakfast hot pocket was delicious, very filling. Beef sausages were somewhat dry but great with the yogurt dip. It's BYOB, order a pitcher of OJ about $10 I think it was, they give you plastic wine cups to use which was great. Clean restaurant and great staff. Parking in the rear or street. Hidden gem!
Disclaimer: I ordered through a deliver app as I could not step away from my home this evening. I paid $30.00 for this BEFORE tip and delivery fees. I’m not sure why two tiny chunks of meat, fries, potatoes, and half a slice of miniature pita would be $20 but if someone could enlighten me, I would greatly appreciate it. The kebab was not bad, though I’m sure it would’ve been better if I had sat down in the restaurant. The Bosnian chili is great, I definitely recommend it, though it’s $10 for a bowl. Not a stellar first experience here and I’ll make it a point to order the same meal in-person for comparison.
Been here half a dozen times and the food and snacks are always great. If you like Bosnian and Balkan food, you’ll love it here! The owner has experience with baking German confectionery and her cakes are amazing, highly recommended. If you’ve never had food from Bosnia, try the Cevapi and Sarma.
Great service. The food was wonderful, and the dessert selection was awesome. The atmosphere and music was an awesome bonus to the dining experience. We ordered Spin and art dip with pita, cevapi, and Bosnian chili. A++
Went here just for desserts. Had the carrot cake, 7 layer Nutella cake, blackberry roll. Food was very tasty. Would try some of their main dish menu next visit.
Loved this place when it was in Harrisburg and nothing has changed. Much larger menu, added breakfast and more dinner options. All their bread is from scratch and tomato basil is to die for!
Nice spot for desserts and authentic Turkish coffee. I wasn’t very impressed with the sandwiches, they generally lacked flavor. I’ll definitely visit again, but not for a main meal. Updated rating to “4 stars” based on desserts alone…the cakes are freakin ridiculously delicious!!
The best if you have a sweet tooth but too sweet! We always go here for their desserts and coffees and they are absolutely the best and affordable. Nice setting and environment and good customer service. My personal favorite is the Nutella 7 layer cake but everything else is too.
We ordered potato pita and peach cake with macchiato. Everything was super delicious. Cake was so soft, moist and fresh.
Tonight I ate dinner there with friends and had a lovely meal, as always. I got three cheesecake cupcakes to take home for the family. I just ate the raspberry one and it's one of the yummiest desserts I've had in years! Splendidly perfect treat.
