This was a perfect spot to stay overnight while traveling on business with an early morning flight out. Rooms were clean and updated and quiet. I was 1 room away from the elevators and never heard them at all. Shuttle drivers are friendly and the staff at the front desk were all awesome. I got in early, 11am, and they put me on a waiting list for a room. It was less than a 45min wait. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in town.
Wow, this is the worst Marriott I ever stayed at. The rooms are full of mold and will affect you greatly! Shower leaks causing slip and falls to easily happen. TV doesn't work in my room. Good luck finding an ice machine on a floor that works. Computers in business center don't work. Complained the front desk about all of this; they could care less. Never ever stay here.
Our flight got delayed by 10 hrs overnight so and the airlines only offered hotels 15 miles away with no shuttle service back to the airport . They offer a 24/7 shuttle service making runs every 30 minutes. Got us picked up and quickly checked in around 1am. I thought 30 minutes was more of a suggestion because when I went down to take the shuttle back to the airport, I had just missed it and I had literally shown up at 3:31am. I waited around alone for the next trip til the shuttle came back around 3:40. I went up to the driver and he said he wasn’t loading anyone for another 10 minutes so I went back inside to wait but this was when people started coming down. Unfortunately some of the stragglers ran to get a seat when the driver started taking suitcases so even though I was the first one waiting, I was lucky enough to get the last seat. That was VERY annoying so I wish there was a better process to use their shuttle service but some people just suck so I’ll have to deal. The hotel itself was nice. The room was clean and breakfast was good. The M Club is also accessible 24/7 and although we didn’t use it, it was nice knowing it was there for us to use. It’s like a 15min drive to the airport because she shuttle stops at several terminals each trip so plan accordingly. Definitely be at least 10 minutes early before the time you want to leave so you can get a seat and not miss the shuttle like i did. One problem we did encounter but was later resolved was we were told because of our status, we got free breakfast we just had to give the waiter our name and room number but we were still charged. We had to call back and speak to someone in accounting I think? to have that corrected and the charge reversed. I appreciate the help but I wish we could’ve avoided the mess altogether.
Overall this hotel was fine. The staff was nice and it is really close to the air port if you like that. Gym was not great but better then nothing. You have to pay $15 a day for parking which seems odd as this hotel is already a bit on the pricey side. Outside of the room and lobby, everything feels a bit outdated. There is a courtyard very close which I personally like more. Walkability: Not walkable. Most if not all the surrounding buildings are businesses
A solid four star hotel based on distance to airport, free shuttle, gym/pool, and overall nice accommodations. However, offering the 5th star for front desk staff. Reagan was exceptionally polite with a nice smile. Also a 5 star for the M Life club. Well kept and polite staff there as well.Rooms: 5/5
I paid to stay here with a conference and less than 24 hours before checkin my hotel was involuntarily moved to another hotel because their ac was not working. This became a major problem for me as all of my events were happening here and I was forced to Uber back and forth. I wasn’t offered any compensation for their rooms being inoperable and had to ask for compensation for Marriott ruining my experience by being forced to figure out transportation. Brianna Gallagher, sales manager, claimed she would find a resolution. After 2 weeks I was offered a free night which is insulting due the the extreme level of inconvenience I endured by being forced to stay at a hotel I didn’t agree to and paying for Ubers for 4 days. I was told her boss would contact me and we’re almost a month out and still not a return call. This hotel does not value its customers. They took my money and provided me a horrible experience and lied about rectifying their wrong doings.
GREAT front desk staff! I forgot the name of the bubbly black front desk gentleman, but he really looks out for airline crew. The rooms are wonderful! Clean, spacious, and feels like a mini apartment. I took one star off simply because of the bartender who was crass, unfriendly, and had poor customer service while trying to order dinner. It unfortunately seemed race driven. But I digress.
Great stay at this Marriott location. The room was clean and comfortable. The check-in process was welcoming, and the front desk associates were nice. Didn't venture much as this was a quick one night stay. One small complaint as there was a family that allowed their children to run in the hallways continuously and slamming doors. Notified the front desk and was elated with their response to address the matter it was after 11 p.m.. Otherwise, I would stay here in the future.
Our room was beautiful and the service was good. But when checking out I paid cash and yet they still charge the card and I'm having to wait to get my money back. Talk to Omar Plus people at the front desk. Said that sorry I had a problem? The only problem was that they were holding my money. Said oh sorry it was a mistake and that's all you'll get your money in a few days No sorry for your inconvenience. Just acted like it was my fault somehow? That will be my last day with the Marriott franchise. Unless they become accountable. Better check your bill for hidden fees or double charging.
Hello all, Avoid this place and stay down the street at any of the other hotels. We have a 5 night stay and I want to leave only 4 days in. The front counter service is lacking, and they will not talk to you. They will only talk to the computer and any direction you are not. They will answer questions with distain for you like you are a burden even when asking for basic hotel items like a robe or where the smoking area is. You have to pay $15.00 a day for a pothole filled parking lot with no security. At the bar, if they don't know how to make a drink like gin and tonic with a slice of lime, they will just walk off and never come back. The only nice thing is there is a cool pool, but that is not much better than the place down the street for the same price. My biggest problem is the thin walls where I could have had a conversation with the nice family across the hall. There is a giant gap below every door and no privacy what so ever as every noise is heard. The bathrooms also have no fan for venting out shower steam, making the room muggy after a shower as well as no locks so make sure the do not disturb sign is on the handle before you get in. I was in the military and traveled a lot and stayed in many many hotels for months at a time. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, and the navy can be quite cheap when selecting hotels. Lol Spend you money somewhere else and have a great trip.
