The Dallas International Girls Cup offers world class competition at all levels. Many of the world’s premier clubs are invited and will compete in the tournament. Top international teams from Sweden, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Australia, England and Canada have participated in the past.
In 2013 the tournament showcased a spectacular international opening ceremony with national anthems, fair play oath and special guest speakers (Tom Sermanni, US Women's National Team Coach, was 2013 featured guest).
The week is full of additional activities including a Reception for team officials; and optional visits to the Dallas West End, John F. Kennedy Memorial and Sixth Floor Museum, Southfork Ranch, Six Flags Over Texas Amusement Park, Fort Worth Wild West Stockyards, many museums and great shopping and restaurants.
The winners of each age category (which includes U12, U13, U14, U15, U16 and U17) receive a trophy as well as a travel certificate towards a trip to the Gothia Cup in Sweden and the Dana Cup in Denmark.
