Goal: Rehabilitation of the mind; regeneration of the spirit.
The Salvation Army ARC Programs are focused on a spiritual change through “Holistic Ministry”. Definition: Seamless integration of the eternal and the temporal in a single program and coordination of various programs to achieve a continuum, meeting the social, spiritual, educational, and developmental needs of those involved.
The goal of “Holistic Ministry” is to rehabilitate or build human potential and to create an atmosphere where spiritual and social redemption can take place. This goal assumes a high view of human potential, the power of God to save “from the guttermost to the uttermost,” and the equipping of new converts for an active life as a disciple of Christ.
The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers are residential rehabilitation facilities fulfilling Christian and social mandates by providing individuals identified with chemical dependency and other dysfunctional problems with a safe and clean environment where spiritual, physical, emotional and social needs are addressed through work therapy, counseling and social services.
All donated goods from Dallas and Collin Counties are processed and placed in our Family Stores for the sole purpose of raising the necessary funds to cover the expenses of running the 180 day men's residential rehabilitation program at no cost to the man seeking our services. It is only through the partnership of donors through out the community that we can make this great Christ centered program of recovery available to men of our community. Thank you for your partnership!
