I had the caramel coconut icebox pie and it was good but VERY sweet. I could’ve done with about half as much caramel. The atmosphere is nice and calm on a weekday afternoon, but at night without the natural light coming in I can see how it would be pretty dark and not as pleasant. They have a good selection of types of pies as well as coffee/wine/beer
I order the guava hand pie - delicious! My husband ordered a lemon pie, I thought it was pretty tasty - not my favorite. I would love to come back and visit. The customer service was great. This location is perfect for catching up with a friend or loved one or just to stop by for a quick bite.
I got the lumber jack pie pear, walnut, maple. One of the best slices I've had in a long time. For a very moist filling, the crust was flaky and light. Somehow, despite being a crumble pie, it managed to be light and you can still taste the pear. Not too sweet is key.
VDay with the better half and stopped by Daly for a sweet treat. Got a traditional apple crisp, part sweet part spice, balance of soft and crunchy. Yum! Only downside was it was a little chilly, but the server warmed our hearts with some creative cutting!
The atmosphere is cozy and the pie is delicious with a few vegan options as well. There is a backyard too! Oh, did I mention there's a pie+beer or pie+wine happy hour after 5:00PM? Because there is!
Really charming neighborhood spot serving pies by the slice along with coffee and other assorted baked goods. Would have expected a little more pie for the $5.50 price, but it’s pretty rich and filling that maybe it’s for the best that they cut it as small as they did!
Cute little pie cafe near Prospect park. Liked their purple sweet potato pie with meringue and lime pie, but chai latte was bland..
Best pie around! Everything is excellent, but the chocolate bourbon pecan is to die for. So good that my wife and I used one for the pie cutting at our wedding let’s be honest, pie > wedding cake. A neighborhood fixture, and always good for another visit.
Interior is a bit shabby. Will not work for appointment. But you can seat here with a laptop for a while. Good pies and coffee.
I only tried the apple and guava hand pies, but I have to say they made me very happy! The crust was delicious, buttery and flaky. I'm not usually a fan of guava, but I really liked it in the hand pie, and the apple filling wasn't overly sweet and was spiced nicely. Yum yum....My husband got the "case of the Mondays"... which to me looked like a case of the diabetes waay too sweet and way too much going on, so I didn't try that one. LOL! I wish they made more types of hand pies. The filling to crust ratio was perfection. The coffee was decent too.
