My experience at El Portal Dental Group was excellent. From the first time I went there for a consultation to surgery. Dr Gill, Dr Davis, and Cindy where outstanding. Dr Gill made me feel very comfortable and walked me through every step of the procedure. Cindy also made me feel very comfortable with her friendly personality and bubbly outlook on life. Even for follow-up appointments, Dr Gill made me feel comfortable all the questions I had and even follow up questions. I recommend this Dental Group to anyone who is seeking expert, excellent customer service, and genuine excellence
Initial experiences review: Exceptional service from every member of the dental group that I encountered from the receptionist to the hygienist and dentist. They do an excellent job of explaining what needs to be done. They are not pushy so you will not feel forced to have any procedures. Keely was my hygienist and I can't thank her enough for making sure I was as comfortable as possible during my teeth's deep cleaning. A place like this actually makes me look forward to going to the dentist. 5 month later review: Unfortunately, the positive experience from the initial service appointments have not been maintained. The dentist and other support staff continue to be excellent; however, it has been a headache working with the receptionist/billing staff 1 individual in particular on resolving mislabeled bills and claims rejected by Delta Dental. My new patient x-rays were rejected by Delta Dental. I called Delta Dental and had the receptionist listen in to learn how to refile my claim differently. Weeks later, I checked in with the same receptionist and she hadn't refiled the claim and she didn't recall what she needed to do. Recently, I received multiple bills in the mail that was mislabeled for my wife and I. I had to go into the office to resolve it. And even then, it was still a hassle getting clarification from this same receptionist. Loved the dental procedure experience, but working with this one receptionist and having multiple basic procedures rejected by Delta Dental has been troublesome.
Staff is friendly but you see a different Dr. every time you have an appointment and it's always a different outcome. The financial part is never correct, I've had a suprise bill in the mail.

El Portal Dental Group is amazing! I have a lot of dental anxiety due to previous experiences at other clinics and Katie, Dr. Gill, Lorena and Judy listened to my concerns and made me feel at ease. I went in with 9/10 anxiety and came out feeling heard and relaxed. Thanks to them I'm now on a cleaning plan and taking better care of my health because I have so much less fear about going to the dentist. Thank you all for the work you do!
The staff at El Portal Dental Group are always professional and handle my appointments with ease. My hygienist Judy is always so friendly and knowledgeable and helps keep my teeth shiny and clean.
This was the quickest, most gentle teeth cleaning appointment I've ever had. It started exactly on time - no wait time at all, which is a big deal for me. Jenny did my teeth cleaning and I'm so glad she did because she was friendly and very gentle. We were even able to have a brief conversation during the cleaning which was refreshing! Judy did my x-rays and was also very kind. They were both really good at not making me feel like just a number but an actual patient. Overall, a great experience! After the cleaning, I was taken into an office to discuss a treatment plan which really just translated to scheduling and pre-paying for my next appointments. I'm ok with pre-paying for my follow-ups but that whole setup should feel less like a timeshare presentation or debt collector call. Lorena was super nice and helpful though! In hindsight, the office setup is ok because financial conversations don't always go over smoothly and best held in private. Bottom line: I'd recommend El Portal Dental Group to all my friends and family.
My husband had a cleaning today and was very satisfied with the entire staff. We have been patients there for over 8 years and have always had excellent care. We have had wisdom tooth extractions, crowns, implants and braces. All experiences have been great. Thank you El Portal Dental for your great service and friendly staff.
WAAAAY below average dentists... I had to return only 2 months after a filling because the one they did fell out in 2 months... One and a half years later - it fell out again - they told me too bad! They quoted me $30,000 for 3 root canals and a filling- for below average dentistry work... They charge WAYYY to much for work that DOESNT LAST AT ALL! GO ANYWHERE ELSE EXCEPT FOR THIS PLACE! ANYWHERE!
I give them 5 stars on my rating. Is by far the best dentist I've been to. It took about a month to get on track with them but I think it was well worth the wait. It is a great place for a family & they will schedule you in when you can get in on a certain date and time. The technology they use is very up-to-date. Great job El portal dental group.
