Damascus Community Center was founded to provide the community with multiple opportunities for recreation.
Our park was created to provide the families in our community with opportunities for recreation.
We have 2 open pavilions and 1 enclosed pavilion which we rent out for reunions, graduations, parties, etc. Two new grills were added this summer. Call Joan Rauch for rental information. (330) 537-4010
We have a playground and swings for the children.
The Nature Trail takes you through the woods on the south side of the park. You'll see many native trees, plants and wildflowers in the spring.
The ball field is a busy place in the spring/summer, as the local Sebring/West Branch Hot Stove Leagues fill up the weekly schedule.
There is small basketball court and a few places to just sit and enjoy the beauty of nature.
The park is maintained and governed by a group of trustees, who serve two-year terms.

Other active board members include Walt Lautzenheiser, Jerry Hollback, Mark Griffith, Joan Rauch, Bill Mickey, Linda Henderson and Bill Stewart.
The Board meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the park. (winter months at Damascus Friends Church, rm 200)
