I am an adult dancer who is new to the area. I desperately needed a pointe fitting by someone knowledgeable and experienced and I’m glad I chose to stop by and see Eve. Both Eve and her fitter in training were great. They took their time and were very relaxed. I felt like I was back home in my local dance wear shop. Eve even knew my hearts desire before I did. She offered up many different options and had padding and assortments available to try out. Needless to say I left happy and satisfied with my experience, and surprisingly I even find I have attractive feet. It’s all in the shoe they say, but personally it’s all in the fitter! Thank you Eve!
My husband and daughter went in today looking for a gymnastics leotard, to my amazement my husband sends a text saying “this is the best place to get dance/gymnastics wear, they were super nice and sweet and treated our daughter with kindness”
If you need any dance shoes this is the place to go. I had original went to the store in Peabody I will not name but they were horrible. Tried to sell me scuffed shoes and come to find out the wrong size. When we went to Damien’s Dancewear they took their time and with my oldest tried on all the ballet shoes to find her wide foot the right one. The girl made it her mission to find the perfect fit. Then with the tap shoes she got her manager to figure out what would be best. They had to be ordered which was fine but my youngest ones are on back order until December. The owner found a store that had them but went above and beyond and picked them up for me all the way in Salem NH. I am so impressed and happy to have gone that day and will only go here in the future. Thank you everyone at Damien’s Dancewear you are truly one of a kind :
I hadn't set foot in a dance store in about 30 years and wasn'tsurewhatto expect. The owner and I had a nice chat and she remembered my old dance instructor from decades ago. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and prices were great. Will definitely be back!
I’ve known Eve for literally YEARS. She has always fit my pointe students with care and I love that she takes the time to know what I as a teacher like or dislike. Just yesterday she sat down with me for three hours going over all sorts of products for my students dress code. I’m all about high quality and Eve knows that! She didn’t HAVE to sit down with me, she wanted to because that’s simply the kind of person she is. She runs a wonderful business and I send all of my students her way - no where else because they simply don’t compare. As long as I let her know what my kiddos need, she will stock it without hesitation. I would highly recommend Damien’s to ANYONE who wants to get great service and a smile to boot! Nothin but love
My daughter's dance studio strictly uses Damien's. She has been dancing for over 5 years and her father typically takes her to get all of her stuff, but I went to get her fitted for pointe shoes and was very impressed. I know little about dance and everything that goes with it, but it was clear that they know their stuff. They were super friendly and helpful and they really took the time with each of the girls that was there to make sure they found the right fit and shoe, which I understand is extremely important with pointe shoes. My daughter felt comfortable and at ease, and so did I. It is clear to me why her studio loves Damien's so much!
The ladies were super nice! VERY nice shopping experience! A nice treat, while here from Florida, to be able to grab some dance essentials before my flight back home and our first competition this the season!
Ran in to buy a pair of ballet shoes for my daughter, being the store my daughters dance school suggested. I was rushed through the store and made to feel like I was being watched for stealing. There was no one else in the store, not sure what the rush was for or why they were so pushy to get me out. It happened at their old location and the new one, and both times it was the same girl ! I will be buying my daughters dance things elsewhere from now on !!
This is the cutest store with an excellent selection and a super friendly staff. We drive over an hour to get here just because the staff is so stellar!
As a business owner, who also represents many businesses, I fully understand the definition of a first class operations. The owner goes beyond exceptions and treats her clients really well. Thank you for being a local business with first class service. That is becoming rare these days.
