if you want to get an effective deep tissue, massage book an appointment with Sherry. She passionately cares about her clients and will offer you tips on how you can take care of yourself even at home. she also provides add-ons like stones and different oils to enhance the impact and experience.
My wife and I got massages from sherry and Nikki. Very good massages. Perfect pressure and very attentive to our needs. We will be back next time we are in Dana Point.
I went there 2 or 3 times a couple of years ago on recommendation from my parents. Went to Noelle and each time she made a comment about how my back was a bit pimply tends to happen when you’re a human and suggested I should do something about it, hinting that it would make it nicer for her to massage me. They were the first massages I ever had and she made me so self-conscious I never wanted to get a massage again until I met my current partner.
Noel! Noel! Noel! I've been lucky enough to have massages at several resorts and day spas around the country and Noel is my favorite massage therapist I've ever found!! You know when you go to a place and you didn't expect such quality? Well that is Noel. A hidden gem in a reasonable priced place. She could be anywhere and luckily she is local and affordable! Check her out @ the Bodycentre in Dana Point. Noel will give you the resort massage you are looking for @ a great price. Thank you Noel for working on my body to help me be a happier and healthier person!: Book Noel today!
SO disappointed with this place! Don’t waste your time, the owner is extremely disrespectful and the massage was only ok, honestly it did nothing for me. I called ahead of time to ensure that I could use my gift card worth $200! which was purchased about a year or so prior, and was told that absolutely I could come in and use it. Came in, had the massage, and then at the payment desk was told that they would not accept my gift card. I politely explained the situation to the owner, that someone on her staff told me that my gift card could be used, and was told that it’s not her problem, I was lying, and sorry I’m out of luck. Wow! What a way to conduct business, huh? I would not recommend this place to anyone, Sue owner received her $200 but didn’t want to provide the service that I was owed in return. There are so many other massage institutions in SoCal who know how to treat their customers and provide a much better massage, don’t think twice about passing this one up and never looking back.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. I got an hour long massage that was a bit relaxing, really didn't do much else for me. My wife got a body scrub that didn't even take off her dry skin. I know this is an expensive area, but you're probably better off going to an Asian spa if you're looking for results.
We had previously purchased a gift card at this owners other location. We called and were told by someone on her staff that they would honor the gift card. We went and got our massage but when it came time to pay they did not honor the gift card and were told to go back to talk to the owner. We went back to talk to the owner and she was very RUDE and said that she would lose business if she honored every complaint. We will never go back to this place nor recommend it to anyone! No wonder her previous location crashed!
My wife, then girl friend, introduced me to Sherry, who works as a massage therapist at the Dana Point Bodycentre. I was never big on massages before getting one from Sherry. I got them a couple of times before going to Sherry, but my expectation was that the massage feels pretty good, and I feel a little refreshed afterward. Boy was I wrong. After getting a massage from Sherry, I realized that the "massages" I was getting were just rub downs with oil; not too useful if you really have muscle/skeletal problems. Everyone should get a massage from Sherry at least once. She will be able to help you deal with problems that you may have never attributed to muscle problems. If you go once, you will see what I mean, and you will not go to anybody else after that for massages. Sherry's massages are truly therapeutic, in that she pin points trouble spots, and she knows exactly what to do to cure them. I have had back problems, shoulder stiffness, neck stiffness, arm stiffness, sore legs, etc. I even had a rib that was displaced, which she detected and told me to go to the chiropractor to get it popped back in. Sherry's knowledge of muscle/bone relationships in the human body just blows me away. She doesn't waste time rubbing you down with oil. That's for tourists. Everything she does to you or have you do has a purpose that leads to a cure. You can literally feel the muscles starting to melt away where there was total stiffness before. Another thing to note is that after my first session with Sherry, I had the best sleep in a very long while. I was told that this is due to better blood circulation as a result of the massage. I am pretty sure that after the massage, I had blood flow in parts of the body that hadn't had blood flow in years, maybe even over ten years. Again, I think this result is attributed to Sherry's skill and knowledge. She really knows what she's doing. Sherry is also very patient and helpful, and she takes time to ask questions to diagnose cause, and fixes them. She also takes time to explain how you can avoid having the same problem pop up in the future. I worry about the day that Sherry will no longer be giving massages, for whatever reason. I am pretty sure I will not be able to find anyone that is going to be able to fill her shoes. There are plenty of places that play soft music and give you a rub down with scented oil, but there is only one Sherry, and seriously, there is no one that can replace her. Needless to say, Sherry is highly recommended. Be sure you call in to make an appointment because she gets booked up pretty fast.
Disappointed. It has been a couple years since my last visit and it has gone down hill. The vibe when I walked in was like I was disrupting my great aunt's living room. My husband bought me a gift certificate, he was told they couldn't make change for him. That is very strange to me. They said the extra money would be put put on the gift card and could go towards the tip. It was not. They were either cheating him or the masseuse. The room that was used for massage was too small, so the table and I were frequently shoved about to make room to get around it. Not a relaxing experience.
