We did a mini family party here 3 kids, 6 adults and rented two lanes. The equipment is all original and super charming. The prices are affordable for a game plus shoe rental. The building has obvious wear and tear but is immaculately clean. It would be more enjoyable if the layout of the entrance/where you had to pay/get shoes was more organized to help with the flow of patrons. I think my only and largest complaint is that because this is a kid friendly activity and has antique equipment, it's clear that parents need to supervise their children. There were kids running into other people's lanes and throwing the ball like a baseball. The owners were reluctant to curb the poor behaviour... Unfortunately we had the experience of dealing with balls being flung into our space by an unruly child and chose to end our gathering early due to the owners inability to manage the people beside us. If we were to go back, I would choose a quieter business day and be more outspoken about bowling etiquette.
Great place to hold a child's birthday or go for a date night. Jerry was a sweetheart and even gifted Josie a wonder woman relic! The kids loved it!
We came as a family 4 adults and 3 children to celebrate my hubby's birthday by bowling a couple of games together. We all had a blast!!!! It was such fun! The prices for the games, shoes and concessions were very reasonable. The owners are the nicest people ever and run this place with love and care. This is a jewel of a place--a piece of our local history-- and I'm so grateful they are here. Every guest we encountered was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend and cannot wait to return!!
Always a fantastic experience, been coming for the past three years now. One of the last true duckpin spots left in the country. Kind owner, resolves any issues quickly. Would definitely recommend calling ahead before stopping by to make sure they're open.
Old place and family owed and operated. Great location and lots of fun. Cheap rates and you get alot of bowling in per hour since they charge by the hour. They have leagues for all ages. They also have a party room for kids. It's a fun place and definitely recommend it if you never tried it.
Sweet people great snacks they make you feel at home and welcome and some games and a gumball machine
Visited Danbury for a weekend and needed something to do on a Saturday and we came across this place. I didn’t know duckpin bowling was a thing until today but it was a lot of fun! The customer service was great! There were a few technical issues with our bowling lane today but the issue was fixed relatively quickly. I would definitely come back. This place is worth a visit!
We had a great time here. The staff was patient explaining the game and we actually prefer the 3 tries per frame in duckpin. Planning to go back soon.
This little bowling alley is a blast from the past. We had a great time with our little ones who got to push the button to rerack the pins and step on the floor pedal to clear the ones that knocked down. From the black and white tile floor in the front and the old wood lanes, the nostalgia was palpable. They even had fun oldies music playing! The prices are decent and it's truly a great family place.
Very nice and friendly staff eager to help. The place could use some updates visually but even with that the 5 stars are for the atmosphere and really well spent family time. Great for kids of all ages and adults as well. Very reasonable prices.
