Danford Island Park

This is a wonderful place to take your children. We went on a small adventure and they absolutely loved it. It’s kept up beautifully and if you’re just wanting to get out and get some fresh peaceful air this is your place. There is all sorts of places to rest and just take in the nature. Just simplify beautiful

Beautiful and well maintained. Did some fishing here and caught a rock bass. Great spot to bring your Kayak and launch from. There is a dock that is meant for launching Kayaks and its very easy to get to. Beautiful area for a picnic or you could grab a pizza from Main Street Pizza because they also are real close.

Great place to go boating or floating, enjoyable for all types. Had a blast on this river with my g.s. troop

Amazing adventure, more rapids than I expected, saw a deer drinking at the river, watching us as we floated by and an eagle just above my head!

‍ Dog friendly park with trails that shoulder the river...a kayak launch for physically impared persons...lots of spots to sit and rest...plenty of space to throw out a fishing pole ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍‍

Cute park. Great place to picnic and relax. There is a little trail, which was very nice. Bugs weren't too bad. No facilities

Beautiful Public Park...with Canoe, Kayak and Tube Launch ramp...Has benches to enjoy river watching..trails, gardens... Nice place to visit...

Quaint little park. Lots of shade and picnic tables. Only downside is that there isn't any play equipment for kids. I was hoping for at least a swingset.
