Wonderful location with a great playground and plenty of fields for kids to run around. This place is known for its footballsoccer pitches and is nestled in the shadow of Cal State East-bay campus. Playground has one entrance; great for keeping toddlers contained. It has a bathroom and plenty of shade under this giant ancient Oak tree.
Beautiful place. Stunning scenery. Nearly empty when I went in the afternoon, it was incredibly peaceful. Definitely will take a walk through here again.
Nice fields, decent restrooms. Easy parking plenty of space to play.
Plenty of parking. Field names for guidance. Multiple field with accurate markings for the kids and coaches. for such a large grass field only area the fields are well maintained and only a few holes here and there.
The short trail at the back at Galindo Creek is great . Saw a bobcat though so have situational awareness.
Parking is horrible, coupled with narrow roads and one entrance /exit. They could open a second entrance but don't. Wild bores come down at night and walk thru the ancient barb wire fence and make these huge holes. It's always hot at Boatwright, never fails.
Didn't know this place existed. Goggle sent us to the CSUEB campus. But if you just go straight from Alberta it will be on the first right and then left.
Wonderful for all ages! Fascinating for my young grandkids! , White Gooses, White Ducks Mallards.
Attended my daughter's university graduation there, a bit tacky for such a solemn event.
. Fields are not in the best shape, lots of potholes in the grass is too long.
