Danny Soares, MD - Facial Plastic Surgeon

After many months of planning which involved traveling to The Villages, finding a friend to go with me, and paying for lodging and many pre-op test,I arrive at Dr. Daniel Soares office for a pre-op face lift visit, the surgery being planned in the next two days. As Dr Soares examined my face he question a scar on my right cheek. I told him that was the result of the squamous skin cancer surgery that I had three months prior. he looked very upset and said that he would not want to do surgery on me with that procedure having been done on my face. I said I called your office to tell you that I had it done and your staff told me it was perfectly fine and would be no problem. Then he got very agitated, lecturing and shaking his finger at me. He said “you do not call the office you call your doctor. I am your doctor”. I told him I did not have his personal/direct line. I suggested that he should train his staff not to tell me that everything would be fine if it’s not. Minimally the staff should consult him before giving an answer. He got more furious and he said to leave his office and by the way never come back, threatening he was also not going to refund my prepaid deposit. I have never been treated this rudely by a professional. My friend and Dr. Soares own assistant looks shocked as well. Dr. Soares is not a balanced reasonable person and I cannot but help to think this does not effect his ability to skillfully treat patients. Avoid this guy. I sure do not recommend him.

Dr Soares cares deeply about his patients . He only does surgery he feels will benefit the patient He also provided his private phone number to use at any time I had questions or concerns. I have been extremely happy with his skills and his follow ups. The office staff is great, caring and ready to help. I highly recommend Dr Soares for facial plastic surgery procedures.

I had been looking for an outstanding facial plastic surgeon since 2014 . Back then I was looking to have an upper eyelid lift . I research real self a lot . I’m such a perfectionist and your face is something you can’t cover up , so it had to be perfect. My really good friend works for Dr Soares and after seeing her lower facelift results , I knew Dr Soares was the right facial surgeon for me . He does outstanding work , he is a perfectionist also and explains extremely well of what he thinks he can accomplish for you. Great bedside manners and called my mom checking on me that evening after surgery. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results of my lower face , and eyelid lift . Dr. Soares performed Eyelid surgery on me last week. I was very anxious about this procedure based on his reputation within the Villages community I decided to move forward with this procedure. He was so professional, Calm, and patient and put me at ease through the procedure. He’s also extremely meticulous with everything that he does an absolute perfectionist. Not only did he remove the excess skin, but created shape within a crease I never knew existed! He talked me through the entire procedure; excellent bedside manner and charming to boot! From the very first consult visit, I was so impressed with the professionalism of the office staff, the nursing staff and Dr. Soares. As a Retired Nurse Practitioner, I feel qualified to competently evaluate. The surgical suite is up to date, the staff is well qualified and excellent in their positions. Dr Soares is masterful in his technique. My results are natural and beautiful. I am so very happy with my refreshed face! I felt so safe and cared for during this experience. Admittedly, I was nervous contacting VIP Village Institute of Plastic Surgery just based on friends' recommendations but they were right!
