Everything in our ymca is beyond what we expected.Enjoyed my day with grandson.And our new family member possie lol
Our family has been a member of the YMCA for the last 28 years and loves it, dating back to the previous building on Main Street. We use the facility 4 to 5 times weekly. Incredibly friendly staff. Recent equipment upgrades. Very high standards of cleanliness. Beautiful location on the Dan River that is adjacent to the Riverwalk.
The Y has lots of classes to choose from, a nice indoor track, and an excellent pool. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The water aerobics classes are my favorite... They are not your grandma's water aerobics! I've found the machines in the workout area are not "extra fluffy" person friendly, which was disappointing. Also, the handicap ramp into the building is difficult to navigate if you have any mobility issues. You get an extra workout on the way into the building.
We go there to fish above and below the spillway. Great times. Great fish. We always throw back for next year
Great amenities! Place just needs to be updated. The hours are kinda trash also.
Excellent site! The facilities are LOVELY. The view of the river and downtown across it from where you find the exercise machines and weights 2nd floor is gorgeous. The delightful and well chlorinated indoor pool is one of my favorite things in Danville. Even the massage therapist who works in the building is excellent.
I love it it’s so adorable it haves a pool gym and basketball
It's an excellent facility, and great staff. HOWEVER, membership is too expensive.
The YMCA community is thriving and incredibly helpful/ kind a lot of people are very proud of this facility for good reason
Great facility at an affordable price. Only lacking in the weights department
