Excellent Mediterranean Food! I say Mediterranean because, Greek food consists of stolen Turkic recipes. That being said they did an excellent job worthy of an Albanian Chef. I really liked the fact that it was not only very good tasting but, filled you up. So nice that that they realize that keeping you busy with the pita bread and hummus while you are waiting for the main dish, keeps their customers happy. I always have high expectations when it comes to beef and shrimp kebabs but, they did so very well with the rice and vegetables! A restaurant worthy of being in the Great City of west Hollywood.
Disappointed with the $9 lunch special, which includes a pita wrap, a salad and a drink. The portion is ridiculously too small. Meat only 3 small strips was not fresh and neither the pita which felt hard as a stone. Will never come back.
Awful experience throughout, service was rude and take out order was wrong. Ordered Mediterranean salad with gyro, ended up getting a salad with chickpeas and chicken. Terrible place!
I thought Daphnes were extinct? I like Greek food so this place has a leg up. But quality ain't spectacular though they allowed me to customize my plate: replace salad with rice. See photo below.
Great food, fast, delivery, take out, eat inside or outside. As a New Yorker it's nice to get a good gyro!
Normally it's great. Go all the time. But must be a new cook. Had the Greek fish. Look like it was taken straight form the ocean to my plate. Never hit the grill. Was part raw. Horrible!
It is a nice place but I was disappointed in my falafel pita burger-style. Not value for money nor was it satisfying or tasty. The falafel was not enjoyable. The pita bread was fresh and nice but oh so small, really stingy. I won't order that again.
This Daphne's location is the best! The food is always exceptional, no matter what I order. Every time I come in, I'm greeted by a friendly, welcoming person at the front and the food is ready and brought to the table amazingly quickly. I've been coming here for years and the high quality of their food and cleanliness of the space never changes. Highly recommended.
I like this place. I hope it doesn't close. It's one of the rare places to get Greek food anymore. Good, fast, and reasonably cheap, even if the Target shopping center is chaos. Worth a visit for both tourists and locals alike. Especially good when you want something more than fast food but less pricey than table service places.
If you're going to charge an extra fee for steak kabob, make sure your steak is gristle free. Every bite of steak has been gristle. $15.18 for mix & match plate is not worth it if you have to spit your food in a napkin. If I want to chew, I'll go to Target next door for chewing gum. The gyro and the salad was good. I would've talked to the manager, but he was interviewing a potential employee. Oh, and where do people take their plates once they're done eating? Leaving it on the table is sloppy.
