After High School Zachary Achtenberg wanted to do one thing, open a restaurant. With a love to help his Mom and Dad in the kitchen and a childhood of fleischkuechle and kraut-nipfla he knew his passion was going to be that of a German/Russian style of cooking.
Through countless hours of reading every German cookbook he could get his hands on as well as general cookbooks from "How to Cook Everything" to "The Joy of Cooking" Zachary is now ready to share with everyone the true taste of German cooking as it is in Germany.
Join me on this journey not only to help my food truck thrive, but also to help the food truck scene in Bismarck/Mandan grow into something that we as a community can be proud of.
