friendly staff, calm environment, and clean space with complimentary tea, infused water, and champagne/mimosas. it was also nice that the gratuity tip was included in the price so i didn’t have to do any math the dressing rooms and lounge were clean and spacious. lounge was dimly lit for more ambiance. the steam room was really nice to use before my facial, there were showers and small amenities like disposable combs, hair ties, shower caps, etc. the heated table was nice during my facial, the room for my session was clean, and the professional was friendly and calm. i got the signature 60 minute facial a week before my wedding reception and my skin felt great right after and throughout the week. i got a gift certificate as a present here, so i am excited to go back to get a massage.
This was the most relaxing massage I have ever had. Armani was so attentive to the built up stress in my shoulder muscles and gave the perfect pressure for me to feel relaxed during the whole massage. The whole experience was enjoyable- the serenity room, refreshments and steam room were all wonderful before and after my appointment. 10/10 recommend the Davenport Spa!
The Davenport Spa and Salon. Is amazing. It is old world elegance and peace. Okay, I admit, I shushed a couple of ladies in the serenity lounge. I enjoyed the Davenport Full Body experience. It was transcendent. Ann was my technician and she was quiet, gentle, firm, and super sweet. For my facial I had Jeanine and she was magical. I fell asleep on her. Probably snored. I think they could add some things for those of us with mobility or back issues. Benches in the showers to relax on. The aromatherapy room seemed a bit slick, so I had to skip it. Also, maybe adjustable slippers so wider feet fit. All in all, little complaints about a spectacular spa with wonderful services and lovely technicians. Bravo!
My husband and I got a couples massage for our anniversary a few months back. The massages and space was nice, the lady who did my massage was amazing. However, the lady that did my husband’s would not stop talking. Just kept trying to talk about my husband’s tattoos and Star Wars while we were there to relax. My husband and I were extremely annoyed because we went to relax and she wouldn’t get the hint of him not responding that he wanted her to be quiet and did not care about what she had to say.
Living in town, I decided to try out the Daven Port Spa for the first time to avail their spa services. I opted for a 90-minute deep massage, but unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The massage itself was rather mediocre and fell short of what I would consider a "deep massage." If you are specifically seeking a truly deep massage, I would recommend looking elsewhere, as there are better options available, including many Chinese massage places that do a better job. Moreover, the time management at the spa was highly disappointing. I booked and paid for a 90-minute session, but I was only given 80 minutes. As I dressed up and went to the change room, I noticed that the time seemed off. When I inquired about it, the massage therapist admitted to miscalculating the time. Although she offered to provide 5 minutes to make up for the error, the experience was already tainted. While the 5 minutes of massage were appreciated, the overall mood was ruined by the time discrepancy. After all, I paid for a full 90-minute session and expected to receive what I paid for, but I only got an 85-minute session in total. In conclusion, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Daven Port Spa, especially to those seeking a truly deep massage. The mediocre massage quality, coupled with the time management issues, left much to be desired. I hope the management takes these aspects into account and strives to improve the overall service quality for future customers. ***Revised feedback 2023-09-07*** I recently revisited Daven Port Spa, and I'm pleased to report that my second experience was significantly better than the first. After sharing my initial feedback, the manager, Jackie, reached out to me with a sincere apology and a generous offer of a 60-minute compensation deep tissue massage. I accepted her offer and also scheduled a 90-minute signature facial massage. During my 60-minute deep tissue massage with Ann, I noticed a marked improvement from my previous visit. Ann took the time to understand my preferences and tailored the massage accordingly. She effectively targeted pressure points, delivering a more satisfying deep tissue massage than my first visit. It was a definite step up, and I left the spa feeling relaxed and refreshed. Kendra, who performed my 90-minute facial massage, also left a positive impression. She began by assessing my skin and inquiring about any specific concerns. Kendra then customized the facial treatment to address my individual needs, providing clear explanations of the products and techniques she would use. The entire 90-minute session was pleasant and soothing, and I was pleased with the noticeable improvement in my skin's condition afterward. I'm happy to update my rating to a solid 5 stars following this second visit to Daven Port Spa. Jackie's proactive approach to addressing my concerns and her willingness to make amends demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction. While Daven Port Spa's prices are slightly on the higher side, the service and quality of treatments make it a good choice for those seeking combined facial and massage services. Additionally, the added benefits of free valet parking and access to the steam sauna enhance the overall experience. In conclusion, my recent experiences at Daven Port Spa have been notably better, thanks to the responsive staff and management's efforts to enhance the customer experience. I recommend Daven Port Spa to anyone looking for a reliable spa option that provides both facial and massage services in a pleasant environment.
All around the most relaxing and thoughtful massage I’ve had! From checking in and being brought back to the tranquility of the waiting room to the amazing robe and slippers you wear before and after the massage there is no thought left out. I wore make up to my appointment as it was a Mother’s Day surprise and it was nice they supplied the make up removing wipes, hair ties, and other self care items. They offered champagne, trail mix, and water which was a nice treat as well.
I wasn't 100% excited about the price point going into it, but my pedicure has lasted in pretty nice shape for about 3 weeks, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Good experience with the seasonal Honey Magnolia Pedicure.
Bday weekend, at - risk kids counselor went to try and relax. Also in wheelchair, changed out my clothes waited 30 min for them to tell me they have no masseuse available for me and offered me a drink. Worst spa experience and waste of valuable time.
Very clean and beautiful spa. Everyone was so nice and the massage ladies was EXCELLENT. Will definitely be going back and definitely will recommend them. I was very pleased and so was my mother.
I go here twice a year for birthday celebrations! I have always had exceptional service, and the perks are wonderful! It can be pricey, but the facilities are top notch! We usually get side by side massages and mani/pedis. If you request it, they can put you in a "couples" room if you would like side by side massages! Again, staff are wonderful, and it's a great experience if you just need to get away from the stresses of everyday life. :
