Davenport Storage

This is by far one of the best storage facilities in the area! I’ve been storing my RV there for I’ve 5 years. Pest control at the facility is outstanding! The staff is friendly and very helpful! I’m excited to have been able to use one of their RV services where the detailed my RV and will be ready to go when I get there! I love this place!!! I have piece of mind that my RV is safe and secure!

I was shocked at how little the owners of Davenport storage care about the facility! we have had our RV batteries stolen and nothing is secure at Davenport Storage, criminals CUT the fence and rummage through the entire facility and take what they want! The manager told me that the Walmart parking lot is more secure than this storage, we are very disappointed and do not recommend them. 6/2022

I've stored my '86 Mazda RX-7 there with no problems. I have a storage there as well. There new manager Tod is very professional and will help you with whatever you need. I've two friends that rent there on my recommendation. 2 thumbs up for this place

From my first phone call for information, Todd was brilliant. He was kind and courteous, but really went above and beyond with me as I got my unit site up and secured. He seems to love his job which oozed into our interaction, as he had a smile in his eye and joy in his tone as he recalled personal camping memories he's had as well as the niceness of the storage grounds. I could not be more pleased thankful and relieved too to store my equipment here; I feel safe.

I could not be happier! I had imagined that storing my 21' trailer was going to be expensive and a pain. The complete opposite has been the case with Davenport Storage! Their pricing was far less than I expected and the folks there are the nicest people too! Since having stored my trailer, I have been able to come over and do work on it in a comfortable, safe and clean environment! The Jurassic Park looking front gate along with the security fence, lighting and cameras makes me have no worries about my investment being safe and secure! I highly recommend Davenport Storage!

Linda, the owner of Davenport Storage is the sweetest woman and so accommodating. Her staff is courteous and beyond helpful. This was the best storage experience I've ever had. I highly recommend them if you need to store your stuff or vehicles.

The Managers and Jessie are beyond kind and helpful. I recently had an incident when I was out of town, where a tow truck, delivering my camper back to its spot, hit it. Linda and her husband took pictures and taped it all closed to protect it until I returned. They even met with my insurance adjuster on my behalf in my absence. Old fashioned customer service is hard to find. It's here at Davenport. It may be a bit far out, but there's no place I'd trust to keep my camper secure like Davenport.

I feel like the old bait and switch was played on me today. I called on 09/09/18 to rent a 5x8 unit for a quoted $60 per month. I was told after he paused to check paperwork that they had plenty of units available and that it wouldn't be an issue to come in and rent a unit on 9/10/18. I come in on 9/10/18 and suddenly they don't have any of the units they told me were readily available the day before but that they had larger units available for $85 per month. I was told by the lady running the office that they were sorry but they had a new employee filling in and that she didn't know what else to tell me but they had no units available other than more expensive larger units. At the minimum, I could have been offered a larger unit for the quoted $60 price for a few months and I would have been okay with that since errors do happen. Nope, nothing other than there isn't anything I can do... As of today the online reservation services were also showing the unit I wanted to rent as still being available. I was told that someone was working on correcting this. Poor customer service and a waste of my time after I drove to their remote location. Their prices are good but it seems like if you have any issue you are going to have a difficult time having it resolved. If you notice the other reviews here are very positive but old. I was swayed by these positive reviews. I'm not sure if management or ownership has changed but the person in the office today wasn't friendly or helpful and I got a bad vibe from her. FYI, unlike other storage locations you need to provide two months rent upon rental and pay a $20 fee for them to program you into their gate access system. Something to keep in mind.
