The owner is passionate about fish. His store is very clean and he is very knowledgeable about the fish and products he sells. He is also very involved in the local community so if you want to buy and support local businesses, I highly recommend this one. His service is great and his staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Prices are higher than big box corporate stores, but the quality and service is much better. You get what you pay for.

Clean tanks and healthy fish, wide selection of fresh and saltwater fish, very  knowledgeable staff.  The lady was nice and helpful but the grumpy man really took the fun out of the visit making it unpleasant and aggressive at time. Does not like children still worth going there. Take a hint grumpy!!!

Dishonest compamy. The people who work there are all lovely except the owner. He wasn't friendly at all and borderline rude and wouldn't talk or help me with questions. I took a catfish in to him to try and rehome, which he told me was a channel catfish and therefore illegal to sell in NY state, however before I was about to leave he decided to tell me he'd 'take it off my hands anyway' and put it in an empty tank.  A couple weeks later I went back in to browse their fish and saw the catfish I took in, in a community tank and for sale for $20 and labelled as a different type. Very dishonest as he told me it was a different kind but took it anyway for his own profit and resold it as something else. I wont be visiting or buying from this store again.

I will never go back here. I went in with great expectations of good service. The woman was polite, but the man who "helped" me was incredibly rude, to the point of almost being aggressive about how I didn't know about fish which I blatantly said I didn't know much, and needed help. Went out of my way for nothing.

They had a decent selection of corals. Nothing special. The freshwater selection was cool and they had some sw fish. Good shop for locals and people looking for a random buy.

Prices are the highest in the area AND they sell fish that are 1.5 years old without informing you of this fact. Very unwilling to give information about the specific needs of a fish ie: water parameters. I will not be shopping here again.

Snow the most knowledgeable people in the area beautiful corals and reasonably priced frags bring me back every time I would recommend them to anybody who wants freshwater or saltwater fish in their life

Love this store! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. All of my new fishies are happy and healthy.

Nick is the best fish tank maintenance person around!  Don’t hesitate to use this company!

Tried to visit in 11/12/19... it looks to have closed it moved because it's no longer at this Delaware Ave location.  1 star was not due to shopping experience there, as I have never visited before.
