First time there and loved it. Seems like this business runs like a well oiled machine. Everyone was friendly and my salon visit with David Chad was great. Unfortunately I live in FL and bring the salon with me but had a wonderful experience. Ladies, men and teenagers as well as kids were getting hair cuts and every one of them looked fabulous, everyone check out this salon.

David Chad is by far the best salon in northern Nj! Everyone is so kind and their hair stylists are amazing! I went to Gianna C. I told her exactly what I wanted and she executed flawlessly. They offer snacks and refreshments and make you feel apart of their family. Highly recommend!Service: Hairstyling

Not at all impressed with my blowout or the atmosphere. I asked when making the appointment how long it would last and the girl said like 5 days, well, it fell flat within an hour. Also, this is not my regular salon, but I needed a blowout and live close by. You can definitely feel the energy and how they treat those who are not regulars. I was also given someone who isn't even picture on their website so clearly he's brand new. I don't think I would ever come back here.

What David Chad has achieved in his new location at 333 Bloomfield ave and the corner of Smull ave is something this writer breathlessly deems, epic! It is the architectural work of Rachel Grochowski realized by the Jack Finn builders. It is a glitter disco palace in the sky for all intents and purposes. And even those words will not prepare you for the temple you enter when you cross the threshold and pass through the front doors. It is the most perfect visual space I have ever seen. The extant federal details of the bank it once was flawlessly mesh with the open format multilevel workspace it has become. The rafters soar above, punctuated by gliding modern lines of neon that glow a color I can only describe as angelic. Overall, the impression is one of being in a magical library in SOHO with all the books removed and replaced with the business and essence of creating beauty. The open atmosphere makes the client feel like he or she is a part of EVERYTHING -- and everything is just so chic and exciting and elegant. A visit to the salon feels like a peek behind a sparkling curtain to witness the coolest most beautiful, most stylish, and most happening people going about their glamorous day and your invited to the party. It's magical and fun. The stylists are all faultlessly stylish and yet incredibly sweet and kind and down to earth. They make you feel relaxed and excited to be there. Chatting is effortless. The front desk is relaxed and contains a large container of impossibly huge lollipops to keep your mouth busy during longer processes. On the second level are cookies and neurogenic machine to help yourself to tea, coffee, or chocolate. The processing areas on the second level are super comfortable and relaxing. There are charging stations, magazines, and space to open your laptop and get some work done if you choose. I have worked in salons that sought to emulate SOHO and I used to go regularly to what I considered the nicest salon in Connecticut. David Chad is so special it is game changing. I have never experienced anything like it. It is special. It is really SPECIAL. Try it. See for yourself. Enter the temple of beauty David Chad has built. And come as you are, I cannot stress strongly enough that the one thing obviously absent from this magnificent tribute to the hair salon is judgment. Also missing is nastiness, unkindness, discourtesy, and the myriad other reasons people are often reluctant to try new salons. David Chad is not just his building, he is his people, and they are the best. The atmosphere is light and relaxed and fun. Professional but without the weight and stiffness and rigidity of a place that takes itself too seriously I love David Chad. If I were in charge of these sort of things, I would award it the highest honor a salon can achieve. You must experience it. It will elevate your expectations for all other salon experiences. Plus it will just make you smile, and that is priceless. I can't wait for the spa services to be fully up and running. I love everything about this place. It leaves me with stars in my eyes! They damaged and burn my hair with the bleach they don’t have professional staff my stylist, she don’t know what she is doing. A big piece of my hair just fall!!! My hair it’s ruined in this salon!!!!!!!! I feel so frustrated!!! And they don’t even care about what happened As a new client I just need to say, never come back and the stylist are just inexperienced!!
