I went to David Douglas hoping to get a quick walk in, and fell in love with the long path. The pathways in the park are paved and well maintained. The trails in the forest are steep, but clear of debris. There are picnic tables and covered areas for events located throughout the park. The grounds receives regular upkeep, are manicured, and clean. There are a variety of sports fields on which to play. The parking lot is a shitshow. The restrooms are clean and functional.
Great neighborhood Park. Lots of shade over the walking path. Plenty of parking and picnic tables
Great place to walk and have a picnic it has some trails that lead to a little park also it’s very shaded and has areas for baseball volleyball all sorts of stuff big open fields:
It is one of the big parks in Vancouver. Little League, concessions, bathrooms, parking, trails, outside bb. No Frisbee golf. I seen a family of gnomes on the trail in the woods.
Good but short paved path and semi hidden single track trials nestled in an urban forest. Easy connection to Burnt Bridge Creek trail. Several ballfields.
This is not a park you go to to get away from people. There are three baseball grounds in this park. It is an older Park so it can be a little run-down in spots and the parking is gravel which can get muddy. There's a paved path, where the concrete is a bit weather worn but usable. This circles around the upper level of the park. If you feel a little adventurous there is a more narrow path that is unpaved, which winds down to the bottom level of the trees between the backside of the first parking lot on one end and Andresen on the far end. You will not find a spot in the trees where you don't hear people or traffic but it is still a beautiful, shaded little path to kind of get away in the middle of town.
Love the nature path. Ball fields are great. Restrooms are decent. Wish there was a play structure!!
It's a neat little park. However it's set up in an extremely strange way. To get to the park you have to go through a couple baseball diamonds. It's in the center. But it's a nice area and decent place to stop for a bit to call your friends or figure out what you want to eat. However I would not make it at destination to play with the dog or hang out with family unless you live within a few blocks.
One of Vancouver's hidden gems a nice park amongst the Evergreen trees. With Little League Baseball, Softball and adult league softball available nearly year round. Great place for a walk or a family picnic.
Great for softball games price are ho at the concession stand
