David Kenninger has represented the citizens of Hendricks County since 1991, maintaining a successful private practice on the square in Danville, Indiana. During that time, he has represented hundreds of clients in criminal, personal injury, and family law cases. He also practices in the areas of estate and civil law.
Kenninger is a former president of the Hendricks County Bar Association and has been honored for his pro bono work by the Indiana Pro Bono Commission.
Kenninger is a former head of the Hendricks County Child Support Division, having served from 1991-2003. Prior to moving to the area, Kenninger served in the U.S. Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps, rising to the rank of lieutenant, before receiving an honorable discharge in 1990.
Kenninger attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind., graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in history in 1983. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis in 1987.
