My significant other and I were moving to Birmingham from out of town making the home buying process even more complicated than it already is with this crazy market. David was an AMAZING realtor and made the process as seamless as possible. His communication skills were prompt and respectful. He is extremely reliable and knowledgeable about the Birmingham housing market and will listen to your individual needs and priorities when looking for homes. His name alone will get you far in this market. I highly recommend using David as your realtor, he will find you your dream home.
My husband and I had not bought a home for thirty years. But, because of a family tragedy, we had to move quickly and unexpectedly to Birmingham. David Mackle was recommended to us by several people, and he walked us through the home buying experience with kindness, knowledge, and professionalism. His communication with us and availability to us were exceptional. His patience with us while we were trying to make hard decisions was calming and helpful. We ended up, because of his guidance, with a gorgeous home with which we are thrilled. Working with David was a joy, and we would recommend him with the highest regards.
We recently purchased a home with the help of David Mackle & his team at Re/Max Southern Homes in Birmingham. David came highly recommended from our son and daughter-in-law who purchased a home with his help. Our purchase journey took a rather long and winding road requiring a much longer time period than we envisioned at the start of the process. Throughout this journey David and his team walked side-by-side with us providing email listings tailored to our specific home requirements, numerous video tours we were moving to Birmingham from out of state and open houses. They connected us to painters, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, flooring experts and even a real estate attorney. Please, do yourself a favor and speak to David, Rebekah and Erin before you start your real estate adventure!
I was preparing to move cities for work and wanted to purchase a home that would service my short-term and long-term goals. Due to my schedule, I was unable to make the trip to see any houses prior to moving and needed a realtor who would be very sensitive to my process as a long-distance, first-time home buyer. David Mackle was recommended to me by someone at my new job as others there had successfully worked with him before. The first time I called David, he stayed on the phone with me for almost two hours answering every question I had-- this was my first home and I had plenty. At no point did I feel rushed nor undervalued as a client. I knew from our first conversation that he would be the right real estate agent for me. I let him know that I would need to conduct viewings virtually as I would not be able to physically arrive prior to my closing date and he happily accommodated this request. David was not only extremely knowledgeable about the real estate market, but was also able to advise me on certain home maintenance issues, upkeep, among other things. With each home we viewed, David took his time going through and pointing out issues that a naïve buyer may not even notice. He never rushed me through a viewing and was very patient whenever I'd ask him to revisit certain areas within the homes. David was also very attentive to what I liked and did not like in the homes we saw and the feedback I provided was well-reflected throughout the process. He always seemed to make himself available whenever I needed assistance, which was pivotal to my process. David brought on a partner, Erin, who was very helpful with practical considerations such as how the slope and width of a driveway could affect my day-to-day. They worked very well together. David's assistant, Rebekah, was very well organized and kept me on top of deadlines, homebuyer tasks, etc. David coached me as I competed with another homebuyer for my home while respecting my autonomy as the buyer. If it weren't for David, I would not have gotten the deal that I got on my home. Overall, I had a fantastic experience working with David and his team; and should I decide to purchase another property, I will be working with them again.
David & Rebekah were wonderful to work with! It took quite a while for us to find a home in this crazy market, but they were always quick and available to answer our questions! And in the end, we ended up in the perfect house for our family! Selling our house went much faster! David got us a better deal than we could have ever imagined!
David is one of the best realtors I've ever worked with. He is professional and very reassuring throughout the process. Thank you for helping us sell our home!
