Located in the "Heart of Uptown" since 2002, you can feel the heartbeat of Westerville in this classic studio & gallery! Everyday you'll can find Artists creating in the studio while visitors shop in the gallery.

In addition to a wide selection of original art, lithographs, photos and notecards, special drawing/painting commissions are available including logo/graphic design and photography projects. No project request is considered unusual. Custom Framing is available for your important artwork and photographs.

Private Art Instruction is available year-a-round as David works with artists ages 5-adult developing their unique gifts...in drawing, painting and photography. David has prepared many artists to continue their education in college or art school. David specialized in working with adults who have little or no art training or experience and who desire to develop artistically to be fully expressed. Art Therapy and mentoring special needs artists is also available.

Personalized Gift Certificates are available for Private Art Instruction, Art purchases/commissions and Custom Framing. Lithographs/notecards are in stock at the gallery, or order online, phone or email. Order Gift Certificates at the gallery, phone or email. Visa/MC accepted.

I started attending art sessions at David Myers' Art Studio all the way back when I was in high school and I'm happy to still be an artist at the studio today, now that I'm a college graduate. Over the years, Mr. Myers has always been encouraging, thoughtful, and kind, providing the perfect environment for me to grow not only an artist, but as a person. Whether you would like to improve your art, get something framed, take senior photos, or support local artists, David Myers' Art Studio is the place to go.

I have had the pleasure of knowing David for years as a photographer for the arts. His ability to capture the feeling and excitement of live performance is a gift that allows our productions to live in memory the way we want to remember them. David is a lover of the arts and sees the beauty in the world around him and that translates into his photos.

When I met David Meyers at his gallery/studio for the first time, I was an aspiring artist with zero experience. I told David I wanted to “learn how to art.” He brought out my passion for painting and from day one supported me and believed in me. Working with David Meyers is about more than just learning skills. He challenges you to discover who you are and to be present with it and proud of it.

David Myers is an amazing art coach at all stages of development. He has greatly helped me improve my art and has given me clarity where I was foggy. I didn't even realize how much potential I had until I worked with him. One of the many things I appreciate about Mr. Myers is how he is able to help budding artists discover their real, buried passion and purpose, turning so so artists into captivating artists. I have a new direction and excitement for creating art thanks to David's direction. I discovered David Myers studio during an exploratory trip to Westerville Uptown when I moved to the Columbus area a year and a half ago. I am an artist who hasn't picked up a brush in years. With David's talent, encouragement and guidance I have been able to tap into my inner artist and am back to painting in a way I never imagined. David is very talented, experienced and has a subtle way of inspiring and supporting through any block or distraction. His guidance and instruction has opened the door for me to confidently view myself as an artist all the while helping me through emotional detours. I am able to interpret the art I produce in ways I never saw before. David also has many beautiful pieces for sale and does beautiful framing!

David Myers has a way of getting right down to the core of what makes you YOU and works from that place to empower you and instill a rooted sense of confidence in yourself as a human and as an artist. I can truly say that working with David which hasn’t been very long, time wise has truly changed my life! I highly recommend his classes to anyone with even an inkling of an interest in art!

David Myers Art Studio & Gallery in Uptown Westerville is the place to go.  We have bought several prints from there and have also had several pictures framed.  His art work is outstanding and he does a great job with the custom framing.  Great attention to detail.  He is also very active in the community, giving private and group art lessons to people of all ages and providing art therapy to local seniors and others with special needs.  Not to mention that David himself is super nice and very personable!

I have the pleasure of working with David for 7+ years now. David has consistently demonstrated patience in working with seniors from our community. He provides them an opportunity to embrace transitions in life, pursue purpose in their senior years and to trust their instincts. Most impressively, David continues to instruct based on critical thinking. Being in his studio is a refreshing experience; one can slow down, experience what it is to think critically, allow solutions to come through the evaluation of circumstances and determine to make quality choices in life and art. Discovery, problem solving, confidence and trust are built on a relationship that allows ongoing conversation. My seniors and I thank David for allowing us to have that ongoing conversation and allowing us to discover what it is to create, embrace and be inspired and to be an inspiration.

David has built much more than an Art Gallery.  He listens, instructs, coaches, advises and makes the experience very personal.  You can pick up a brush if you want to, but I have visited his Gallery numerous times just to sit with him for a while and talk about life.  On every level I have had a positive, therapeutic experience. Highly recommend!
